Don't forget the Taisan Porsche limited release bodyset. Same thing there, was a limited show release item. Jason sold out of those real quick, the rest went for a pretty penny in the end when they cropped up on eBay.

Although I have a feeling the Countach body set will be seen again someday on the Tamtech line.

The body set come in a box. And there is an adapter set sold separately to fit the high-lift chassis.

"Thank you for your interest in Hilux. Due to the number of requests for this item this message is a standard email sent to all inquiries

The body set has so far only been available in limited quantities so far at the model gallery in Ikebukuro. It was taken off the shelves after 2 hours on the first day and only available on request at one piece per person thereafter. Therefore those available to me was limited and in fact I have not been able to fulfill requests yet from close friends or suppliers outside Tokyo.

Unless Tamiya makes more available, which should occur eventually due to minimum production profitability I can only sell on ebay those I can obtain from resellers. As this stock has cannot be guaranteed I cannot offer pre orders. Any obtained will be listed on ebay as available. Jason

It is most likely be your RM body as Tamiya will usally have some sort of conversion kit to fit it on a new car. Case in point was the M04 conversion for a 911 PIAA Porsche. A conversion set for the Group C cars to a F201 chassis. yada yada

So i would ask JR-RC about the 280 as i dont think i will be going toward Tamiya anytime soon. JR-RC is my favorite seller on Ebay as he dosnt over charger for anything.

Very nice with the release of the 280ZX shell! I allways thought the ZX was one of the most beautful shells around. But shouldnt the shell fit the original 280 if its in 1/12. Not a problem for me though as i dont own an original 280ZX, but anyway.
