Well, just completed the F350 High Lift complete with the MFU. Simply my most enjoyable Tamiya build I have ever completed. Not overly complicated (Well, the MFU teased me for a bit), many steps to enjoy & it looks like someone pointed a shrinking ray at a real F350.

You can't beat that "cool" factor when shifting the transmission, honking the horn or turning on the headlights, roll bar lights & tail lights all from the radio :) . In fact, I enjoyed the build so much it's all I talked about at work and several of my coworkers have "demanded" I bring it in for a demonstration !

Tamiya - this is the best kit yet (Until I build my Scania though). Good Job ;) .

Will be added to my showroom after I grab some better photos . . . . . . (Sparkling body done by suspekae from scale4x4 - it really shines in the sunlight).

Oh, by the way I enjoyed this build so much I've already begun ordering things for a second one to build :P .

Stunning! You lot are not helping me avoid spending 300 on this kit!

Love the paint job and the rims are great!

The only thing I didn't like are the 'Lexus' style tail lights, a bit pimping. Would look better with red tails and amber turn signals! Also, can't the wires to the spotlamps run through the roll bar?

  • I like the "Lexus" lights - that's why they are there
  • The wires can be run through the roll bar a bit - but I was eager to get it tested & "done"
  • Those beadlock wheels are very nice - thanks !

That truck came out looking real good. the two tone paint is unusual.

I like this one. I think with this paint job the lexus style lights look the best.

But why don't you screw the things to lead the wires more to the side on the rollbar?

Thanks Shodog. Inspiration was from the Blackfoot. I decided to "wrap" it around the tailgate to finish the look. I'm happy with it and credit to suspekae from scale4x4rc for the paint work. It really shines in the sunlight & is second to none !

I enjoyed the build so much I'm already working on a second one !
