ok thnx thats a start but what do i need to do than with my tires i heard PVC or ABS but how do they mean that ??

thnx for replying me

They are both pipe materials...

PVC is usually waxier & gives less grip.

ABS feels harder but gives a little bit more grip than PVC.

... either will reduce your grip so that you can go sideways with minimum of motor power,

so even a 540 or Sport Tuned is good enough.

Can buy & cut the pipe yourself or buy them ready-machined to fit your wheels.

A lot easier to buy ABS nicely machined with rounded edges...

If you're running Tamiya's Type-D tyres or the other commercially-made drift tyres

they are grippier and need a lot more power to start dancing. Plus they cost more.

(I feel the brushless SS5800 Novak is perfect for Type-Ds, different driving technique too)

TT01 is a solid car which handles drift-duty well, they're unkillable.

You should lock the rear diff (remove & dismantle diff, replace grease inside diff with glue/blutac/silicone).

I've got current car with locked diffs front & rear... need a bit more power if you lock the front diff too.

Oil shocks are a good option to stop the bouncing; i've put the alloy centre shaft too (hot motor).

Just about to get into building a TT01D ... probably be alloy shaft & heatsink mount on this one.

Adjustable suspension arms are moot, oil shocks as standard on TT01D... they drive better than they look.

My usual drift ride is TB02 & EvoIIIs... basically just bolt ABS onto my usual race rides.

With enough power EVERYTHING can be drifted - most of them run brushless motors.

Just question about where you are from? Im guessing Germany becuse you said something about Carson parts. I know alot of RC Drifters in Germany that might be able to help you if you need. They post on a forum in German and English. They drift the TT-01 and The Yokomo Drift Package chassis. They have alot of experience.

HI!

did you but the pvc? B)

I have a nissan Silvia Coppermix and it's really nice to drift with this car! it is a tt-01d, expert build.

If you need some info, I'm ready to answer!

I bought a long pipe of pvc (used by electricians for the illumination n gardens) and then, cutting, you obtain the tyres!

good job!!!!
