What I did..

I looked through an old copy of the: Tamiya Radio Control Guide Book

Got reminded of the Beginings of the 'Tamtech' series of 1/24 scale cars

had flash backs of the days I used to fantasise of owning an Adspec system to put in my Skyline as I was building it.

Browsed through the Forums here.

Discussed withe my Lil' Brother as to suggestions on the Non Box Art paint to be applied to the 787b.. General agreement is 'Carbon Fiber Look'

- received and payed the bill for my custom made aluminum wheels for my beach buggy (I'm so curious how they will look like, had to wait two month to get them done)

nice monster beetle! i have one of them arriving fingers crossed this saturday from... ebay! haha always ebay lol. Having a real struggle finding a new body for it though as the other one looks pretty old and i want to paint it up and make it look special but its like panning for gold!! knew it would be *sigh*

Today I opened the box that came from Germany.....

I stripped out the MSC on my Blazer as it never worked on 1st step, installed a new one (well ,an adapted Hornet original one with a 4th resistor wire soldered in ) Removed the original short green and yellow motor wires from the can and replaced with long ones to connect to the MSC with bullets -runs much better now. (BTW - i'm looking for an original MSC - anyone got one?)

Badboy -your MB looks good ,is it coated with clear lacquer? .If it isn't ,then maybe it should be as that is when the 'metallic' will be at its best

Nothing on building actually today,

but did clean up the tank track in the back garden, and burned out some weed what

just refused to depart from the track.

I'll bet it stays away for a while now

Track is partial blocked now, as 2 sunflowers decided to grow across it, bit of a waist to cut 'em down.

Could not resist taking the Leo 2A6 for a spin around the track.

And a very happy person now, finaly managed to buy 2 scale 1/18 , 1/16 M113A2 apc's. As the last guy

from who i bought 2 of them, had to be corrected by Paypal, as he did not send them

Hopefully these do get send & arive!

Did some more looking around what chassis to use for the Formula one offroad project "undiceded yet"

*Ordered the new Junfac Aluminum Differential Cover for my High Lift

built this from a the ashes of a dead frog !!! it runs well but still needs work in places

I striped the paint off the Nitro's cooling fins as the previous owner painted it black with heat ressistant paint, which may be causing the problems I've been having.

Made up some alloy rod lengths for more SRB bolt-up cages.

Machined a pair of Hornet axles down for my Blackfoot project.

Machined some hardened steel drive cups for the Hornet axles.

Put my Losi XXCR up for sale

Got a large bottle of used brake fluid for dunking the extremely used and abused Pajero hardtop shell into.

Got a friend to solder Deans plugs onto a couple of ESC's for me

Pulled the radio gear out of my M01 to make my Hummer into a runner. Need the black arm off the servo with a ball cup fitting on it, and the ball cup. Also, need to figure out how the springy metal arial on the Hummer will work with the wire that comes with recievers.

Currently just an alloy replacement for the stock black plastic part but it uses the original pipe joints & bolts straight up to the regular roll bar points.

Check out my Ranger rebuild to get an idea of what they're like. That one is slightly taller than stock because of the custom rear suspension mounts but the next ones are all standard.

This evening I painted the windowlines on my MB and did some pinting on my WW2

Also painted my girlfriends mini MB in same metallicred as my MB

And put on the stickers on it...

Blasted about my Falcon, Tried and Failed to start the Nitro and swore at my brother for connecting the battery with the radio off which resulted in the boomerang driving over my Charger body. The Boomer's MSC died today.

it a real PAIN IN THE *** to screw the chassis together! must they really use 3x27mm screws!

ok i've kind of strip the screw head while screwing that she-bang in.

is it OK to use 3x25mm(i can get it from shops easily) to replace 3x27mm(i have to ORDER and i hate it)?

- Titanium screws (all sorts)

- 3mm aluminium nuts

- 6 Kimbrough servo-savers (should be enough for a few years)

- 0.4 module pinions

- aluminium motor cooler

- some misc. wire bits.
