Finally finished the body on my SCX-10 Rubicon (top is done too, just not mounted in this photo). The chassis has been complete for over a month lol. This is my waterproof snow machine for the winter.

Took my Twin brushless dual hunter out for a spin.. Not many of my cars will do the wet long winters grass but the hunter had no issues

Forgot about its massive torque steer

Back in 2001 I gave my Dad a Christmas present of an aircraft I built from a 1:144 vac-form kit, one he used to fly. It was a poor quality kit and very hard work to construct, it ended up being about 30% scratch-built in the end. I noticed on Christmas Day this year that it was looking a bit battered (one house move and two cats) so I took it home and spent this morning repairing it.

Took the crawler king out for a run with a few friends and managed to strip a few teeth on the spur gear going up a very steep muddy slope so had to come home clean up and work out what i need to replace to make it last a little longer,

Got a lot of wheel spin through both front wheels and one must have cought a tree root as it suddenly jumped forwards them stopped and rolled all the way down with no drive.

finally built and tested my home made vac former. I'll do a build thread in the next day or two for this as its pretty simple. The pic is of a test I did, using a plaster of paris copy of a Retro Racing Mk1 Escort front end. The reason for the copy is so i can make a polycarbonate version.

Finished these for an Aussie TC buddy -

I'm pleased with how they've turned out but they were hard work. The mouldings aren't great so it's difficult to put them together nicely and the detail isn't particularly crisp. I don't think I would willingly do another set!!

Started to cut out the sub frame frames for the main trailer for the war rig. No pics yet as I'm doing 2 at once and they're still bolted to the machine, but might finish them today if I can get another hour in somewhere...

Looking good!

I found drilling 1mm holes (or smaller) in the recesses helps definition, meeting up with larger holes from underneath,so to get the vacuum.

This was back in high school when I used theirs.

Nothing rc related but started the search for a newer car. I did find the one I was after on Sunday but the sale's mush would let me test drive it unless I gave him my phone number. So at that he lost a sale.

So I have got the forseable future on Saturdays looking at car dealers "on joy"

Today I finished applying the decals to my black edition Grasshopper shell, and started painting the driver man.
