So it appears I wasnt going to buy it anyway 😁 Yeah the M04 looks a little odd like it isn't part of the 'evolution' so to speak. Haha I am trying not to, but I only have 3 left (if I don't count the MF-01x and TA-05 M-Four thingy) to get. I would be lucky to be able to post the M01 I have here to you for a paltry $76, USPS rates have climbed yet again, cost nearly $14 to send a flat bubble pack to Wandy last week.

Was in electronics as a telly engineer, retrained because I only wanted to learn cutting and ended up at end of that year with Hairdresser of the year. Did the final level 3 course which taught colour correction and won a load of clients so made a business out of it. All my clients recon am a hair engineer and trust me because of the engineering trait... The GHD's came off a carboot for 50p!

I can't see anyone's location as I am on my phone, kind of sucks, so I just pretty much assume 80% are Brits, 10% Americans, 9% Aussies and Kiwi's and 1% is my old mate from Santiago de Chile 😊 Yeah that was $76 nzd, so around $45-50usd. It wasn't mint (I tell myself). If you are keen to let one go, Chris, work out what you want for one and PM me a price. ☺
Wooders28 4723 Posted September 13, 2017 Got the melted silver can out of the boomerang, and pulled it to bits,as you do, it's toast. Fitted the new eBay purchased reedy modified motor, (of unknown dottage, but the 1060 didn't melt, so presuming it's less than a 15 turn pink dot), back in bashing business! 😁 Fitting the bearings is on the list of jobs.
nowinaminute 2815 Posted September 14, 2017 Just finished my first ever Lunchbox! Hybrid of black and yellow versions. Some of the yellow version decals didn't work too well with the black shell so I stuck a few sponsor decals on instead, yellow ones to balance out the wheels a little.
Aleblanc 57 Posted September 14, 2017 I worked on my current Sand Scorcher kit last night, being my first RSB chassis I was absolutely excited by all the metal and how it goes together - such a fun build!
nowinaminute 2815 Posted September 14, 2017 I'm not saying the Lunchbox handles well but I was expecting worse, I think I've spent so long learning to keep my Grasshopper and toy grade conversions the right way up that I'm well prepared! It's still easy to flip if you're over zealous but it seems better behaved than my Grasshopper which I swear I can leave the right way up when I go to bed and it's on it's back when I come downstairs on the morning! And although the suspension design is the same in that it locks up under power the tyres have enough give that you can scuttle over dirt etc without it instantly taking off and changing direction. I only really enjoy my Hopper when it has the 380 motor in it or at the beach with a powerful motor.
Grumpy pants 4485 Posted September 14, 2017 I've just sold my NIB HCT unexpectedly to a TC member. It's highly unlikely to get built in the foreseeable future so it may as well go to a good home 1 less box to unpack after a house move last Friday
i_am_scarecrow 913 Posted September 14, 2017 I found a big old box of rc stuff on Facebook local to me, went and had a look and came away with all of it for £70! It's rare for me to find stuff like this, usually I'm the guy that calls the seller just after they have sold it! There are also boxes of tools and spare parts, loads of electrics and allsorts still to sort. Obviously the E max will be sold on to help restore the Tamiya's!

Peter_B 997 Posted September 14, 2017 I started having a look at the RC10. Took the rear shocks off to try and find the cause of the uneven rear droop. Found that one wasn't built properly so will rebuild both of them when I get the parts. Remived the old receiver and then used some "sticky stuff remover" to get rid of the old servo tape residue. That stuff works great! A spray of that, wait a few minutes and scrape with a plastic glue spreader (borrowed from my boys), it comes right off.

Can you post a pic or link or something? Last race day my ESC came off, but I was so short of time I just put more tape on between the sticky stuff on the chassis and ESC. Its still holding, for now... 1 hour ago, i_am_scarecrow said: I found a big old box of rc stuff on Facebook local to me, went and had a look and came away with all of it for £70! Surely that E Max is worth that alone? My problem would be even if I came across a collection like that my wife wouldn't be nearly as excited about it as me and wouldn't see it as a bargain, rather a waste of however much I could get it for. Getting very jealous at the moment, there are these amazing finds on here and a mate has just bought an Egress and Avante to go with his other 19 Tamiya's and a few racing 8th scale Mugens! i_am_scarecrow 913 Posted September 16, 2017 I've been getting my cars ready for racing tomorrow, you watch it rain! The MG shell I used a couple of weeks back on the TT01 had a couple of roll overs and doesn't look quite so good currently, step up the little Toyota MRS. Just need to decide on a colour for the front end today. I'll also have an FF02 out racing, It probably wont keep up with the TT's but I've wanted to try a fwd touring car for a while.
nowinaminute 2815 Posted September 16, 2017 I've been driving my new lunchbox some more. It's definitely less prone to tipping over than I anticipated, like I said before I guess driving a lot of modified toy grades has taught me how to be careful with vehicles of dubious handling prowess. It probably helps that it only has the stock motor too but still, only two scratches on the shell so far and both from avoidable user error and not the truck tipping whilst cornering. The old Fast-slow-turn-fast technique works much better with this than it does my Grasshopper when that car has a 540 in it. I'm sure if I tried to go fast over some really rough terrain it would soon lose it but I thought it would be bad even on dirt and short grass and rough tarmac etc but it's not so bad. Gorgeous looking MR2, you can't really go wrong with a colour choice if your got the back half black, Black goes with everything! Lets see the battle wounded MG shell Im in love with Front wheel drive cars lately and that Ff02 you have is heaven sent, nice job and hope it pulls itself round the track with honour. Motorworldmedia 139 Posted September 17, 2017 My vintage original Mazda 787B #58102 ex-racer retired to the shelf for over 25 yrs. After all these years I decided to finally pull the car off the shelf and paint the rear wheels and add Dunlop tire decals which didn't matter much over 2 decades ago. Next project is to paint and install a group c driver cockpit to finish it off in style which wasn't very popular back in the day on the race track in the 90's.
