Thanks @S-PCS . The gold makes the difference & I love it, credit is due to @jonboy1 I saw he used translucent red over gold on a monster beetle & I ran with the idea (albeit with orange and on Lexan)

Looks beautiful @J@mes - that Sir is a Brat to be proud of. Glad I provided a little inspiration on something so awesome! ;)

Painted yet another Nissan Titan body, this time trying out something along the lines of the famous Grastens' Theme.

I'm pretty impressed.

Now I'll just have to assemble a chassis for it. One with black wheels.

Stunning! Love it!!!

Thank you. All credit belongs to @Grastens, I just shamelessly copied the idea. :D

I know that feeling - we've all done it. I'm just glad @Grastens doesn't charge royalties.... :P

Well...I've gone and done it and I've finally bit the bullet.

I'm building an Avante.

Excellent! It is a build I am confident you will enjoy :)

All right, boys, you know where the cheques go ;)

In all seriousness, though, I am flattered that the theme has inspired these wonderful paint schemes. As I build up some more kits, I suppose I will be making a return to the tri-colour once painting season starts! Thanks for sharing these lovely shells

Got my 2s powered Bullhead to drive straight... apparently you need to tighten the new alloy anti rotational brackets when you upgrade them from the stock plastic ones... now it doesn't pull left on full acceleration..... and my new USA flag has been fitted, thanks to all whi helped me along the way.

Next job is to do a new shell, put some oil dampers on and consider buying the hex wideners to prevent as many rollovers... plus try 3s lipo too!

So at the weekend I bought a replacement Wild One for the 2 I’ve owned and sold on...

Can’t really justify it in anyway shape or form right now but I will keep this one long term and what works for me is that it’s RTR so any changes will be purely for my own satisfaction.

I always buy a ReRe as well not sure why but there you go!

I also bought Finmans GH which gives me a motor upgrade, a CRP bumper, a decent set of spare WO wheels and tyres.

I’m going to replace the parts I take off and then sell the GH...that’s the plan anyway!

This KBF got its 1st taste of freedom after 22 years. It’s 1st run was on Worthing seafront today. End Point Adjustments allowed a 2 & two 3 year olds to have a taste of vintage RC monster truck action too. Managed to keep this one out of the wet stuff 💦

22years

Great fun watching it bounce over the pebbles, it did a great job!

Broke my ‘don’t spend anything in March’ resolution after @TurnipJF‘s M03 comments.

I put a bid on something I thought  would go for much more. It didn’t. The reason? The body is pretty bashed up and these days nigh on irreplaceable. I really should pay closer attention.

On the plus side, I’ll have an M03!

New wheels and tyres fitted, 55D look and fit so much better than 60D tyres & help to get the lower stance so much easier (yes I know I can trim the body posts now!)

The weather outside is miserable, so I tried to take some photos of my new Kamtec runner shell indoors instead.

It is an excellent fit for the M-06 chassis in SWB configuration. Although sold as a Banger shell, I wouldn't be surprised if it was designed with the M-06 in mind. The wheel arches line up perfectly with the wheels if the little foam front bumper is snug up against the front of the molding, the shock towers fit underneath the shell with no clearance issues and the cut-out under the rear wing gives plenty of space for the motor and gearbox to stick out and get some cooling air.

fitted electronics for the Vintage F160.

Built in brushless ESC 2in1 and just a norm steering servo - fits nicely for the job.

Got some ideas from different CC01 mods. I did the rear suspension two weeks ago. Today I did the front. Made a shock tower from a 3mm CF board.

Here's a thread I made for this slow build.

Any clues as to the origin of this body shell and if more are available somewhere?

I bought if off of ebay on a whim, luckily I had the bumpers & grill already. Looking at who they payment went to I don’t think it was anyone called Jason though.

Installed the electronics to my FF03. I dont know how much kV this motor has, but probably somewhere above 4000kV.

Cant wait to try it on a Nostam 2s 3800mAh 55/110C saddle pack pushed to the rear of the car.

I like how these motor wires were solderd already to fit the FF03 mount.

can't wait to try it tomorrow
