Re-Bugged 10155 Posted December 21, 2019 Had to don my glasses today for some calligraphy. I did the Tamiya paint with a toothpick on my Brat tyres and took ages so this time round I picked up a tyre pen from Super Cheap auto’s trimmed the tip down and in no time at all done 👍🏻
Badcrumble 4204 Posted December 21, 2019 Not much achieved today. I started to assemble some Brat wheels but it was really hard going. I thought the assembled wheels would take up less space than the constituent parts. I gave up when I realised that i wanted to paint the wheels. Better to do that first rather than fight with them twice. Pulled out some ORV parts from the garage. I cleaned up one lot a little while back. Now I intend to clean up the second batch and see if I have enough to assemble a car. I had been worried that I hadn’t enough bits for two complete transmissions. Then I remembered that one of them is going to have a MIP diff so that’s one less headache!

msgimartin 508 Posted December 22, 2019 Trimmed and masked my Amarok body for the WT-01N. I didn't realize until I'd masked off the wheel arches/fenders that the decal sheet included black stickers for them. Suppose they'll look better painted black anyway.

ThunderDragonCy 7886 Posted December 22, 2019 Up early, but had the final bits together so finished the spares box/bitsa DN01 i have been building. Very satisfying using up lots of spares (mine and a couple of other peoples i know). Just needed a new ball diff and a couple if parts trees and it all went together. Probably going to sell it, but it's been a nice project.

Grumpy pants 4485 Posted December 22, 2019 Checked out my Blitzer Beetle that arrived on Friday, happy as a sand boy. Will keep this one and sell the runner I have on instead now. Pulled the WW2 out of the wardrobe to fit the electrics and decided I’d done enough Tamiya for today 😂

Futura 199 Posted December 22, 2019 Finished my mini re-furb on this DT-02 Kumamon. As bought from TC member Taffer. A nice used car, stock bulid apart from bearings. I've added a mix of new parts ( cva shocks +pinion for bigger motor) & stuff I had spare (wheels/tyres, & a torque tuned motor). The body has had a good polish, I think it has scrubbed up well.

Badcrumble 4204 Posted December 22, 2019 Started cleaning old ORV parts. EDIT: ordered some Brat screw bags to cover the inevitable missing essential parts from my ORV ‘bargain’ chassis buys.

lsear2905 1279 Posted December 22, 2019 I took the Proboat Sonicwake, a 90's vintage Taiyo hovercraft (running 3S) and a wooden boat my grandfather built out for a run at a model boat club where I'm a member. Then I stopped off at a skate park and ran my 2WD Traxxas Stampede, which was very enjoyable (big jumps, big tires and plenty of suspension travel). Later in the day the kids wanted to play "2 square," so I took them, and a TT01, up to the local high-school which has a massive undercover area, which had a lot of dust, so I drifted while they played, protected from the sun. By this stage I was satisfied with the amount of RC'ing I'd done for the day, but then after an invite for an evening trail run I headed out and ran the CC01. I took my scale caravan, but after a wheel jammed up, then fell off, I just ran the CC01 without it (and strapped it to my backpack). The G601 had a brief run before the trail started as I was the first one there!
