lsear2905 1279 Posted August 22, 2022 Nothing RC related - I took advantage of a break in our winter weather to go for a 26km bike ride, then I went to the best sporting ground in the world (along with another 88,241 people) and watched my footy team miss out on making the finals by 1 point. 1 point. Ziddan 947 Posted August 22, 2022 Today ive finished up the chassi for my Blitzed DT03. I cut 27mm out of the middle of the chassi to get the wheelbase down to 260mm and added bracing+two part epoxy to seal the cut. Designed a different servo mount to roll it 25 degrees forward and move it as far forward as possible to make the battery clear when putting it in. Made scorcher shell mounts that attach to the shock towers in the back and shocktower+body posts in the front. Made a hinging battery clip that locks into two of the holes in the tub and holds the battery solid. Ill put up pics after work. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Willy iine 18805 Posted August 22, 2022 (edited) For me, continuing on with the gum ball machine for Willy’s shop. I decided the bottom of the leg was too distracting on my previous design (?) if one can call it that.. so made it simpler so that the eyes focus on the globe. Will give it some color later today.. Next up, I’m going to make another snake plant. Greens make the shop look more interesting.. Update.. made a cylindrical pot for the snake plant this time. Going to spray this with the gun ball machine later today. Update.. scorched my fingers again shaping these leaves with a heat gun. Update.. gum ball machine is complete, just waiting on hopeless beads (I mean holeless ) to arrive to fill the globe. Final update for the day.. finished the fatter Snake Plant (left).
