Of a similar ilk to all the comments about playin with your willy

Strangely she wants her own RC now as a result of the weekends frolics. I was originally going to get her a Lunchie, but she prefers the Blitzer. I really shouldn't get her a WW ever:

"What have you done today?"

"Spent the afternoon playing with my gf's Willy".

Well, today I ordered a 21.5T brushless/ESC combo for my TA03R that I'll be racing in VTA class when it starts up next month.

Yesterday I ordered a body shell + wheels/tyres for it.

And last week I lined up an M03, which I'll be picking up this weekend.

Just need the Postie to come through with the goods before the new racing season starts. <_<

So, what have you done today?

Not today, but yesterday I ran my Axial SCX10 Jeep Cherokee for the first time. Only got round to fitting the electrics on Saturday and was pretty bummed to find the winch was DOA. In fact it did work but only when the wireless remote was right by the controller thingy. The winch itself is OK so I'm going to pu tthe operation on one of the channels rather than off the wireless.

Anyway, as the sun was out we went to one of the local beaches. It's a couple mile trek so carting all my gear along with wife and kids I needed a sit down before going any further.

Brought some tools to take off the roof rack. I'd already snapped the jack off and glued it back on so knew the first roll it would all snap and I would not be happy.

First time out on the rocks and I was stunned at just how well it crawled over the rocks. It performed beautifully and in a short while I was balancing it and positioning it in order to get up the inclines. A few rolls, a few scratches and disturbing a woman taking a leak behind some rocks (I didn't even notice until she stood up!) and I'd had a great time with my crawler.

If anyone is thinking of getting a crawler, do so. It's surprisingly good fun and very satisfying when you set yourself a course or task to overcome.

Put the vintage electrics back into the Vanquish i'm rebuilding - had to solder the short copper wire on the MSC so hopefully i've re-assembled it in the right order lol!

Test run tonight, then need to sort out a body.

It worked out a lot cheaper to buy 10.5m of it it was nearly the same as 3m. At least I have lots of practises and could use it for other stuff too. I also need to make the sticks that go across.

Like that is. These are the hoop off my father's 1:1 series 2a lightweight.

Hooked up the battery pack, set if crystals and bingo, the old girl lives. Technipower sd is a reasonable motor, better than silver can but still a bit lacking in pace for my liking. Just need a body now :)

Got a yard-sale TL-01 back up and running, and thus officially got myself back into the hobby. Good stuff.

Is July 1 and a public holiday here. Not RC related...had to remove a yellow jacket wasp nest from the garden as my better half got stung several time while working in the garden, by means of using my airsoft, which is better than spaying with chemicals. The nest was about the size of a grape fruit / soft ball and majority of the wasps get to live and built their nest away from the house again.

Sold my Turbo Optima Mid New build on tuesday to a friend (for his display cabinet in his office!), he also took enough new parts to build another one (he wants an identical one for his "Man-Cave" at home too), so i sat there thinking what can I spend the money on?.

Well after hours deliberating I decided on buying my father some golf lessons as he wants to learn to play properly (Its a father son thing to do together) and then most of the rest of the money was spent on a new driver and Lob wedge B) well they will certainly get some use in the next 3 months anyway as I try to improve my handicap

I also had enough left over to get my father a new Micro RC helicopter for his upcoming birthday.

What am I doing today?, when i finished packing everything up and posted them, I shall be starting to restore a Javelin for the same friend who bought my Turbo Mid!.
