It will be the same, but this time using an actual Sand Scorcher body so the joint area should turn out cleaner.  I bought 2 bodies this time so down the road might do a cabrio… depends on whether I screw up or not.  

I am still undecided on the color.. I want to use the same red again, but what would be the base body color.. off-white?  sand? TS5 drab this time ..? .. 

The last combo was a TS70 olive drab and the red.. thing looked wild when I first painted it, but grew on me.

@Busdriver Colorful bus you got there!   I like your transformations.  It goes from normal (stock) to wild to wilder, then wildest!   

I like that WRC themed Brat.  The Brat brings back so much memories.  I loved mine, my grandma bought it for me in 1983 or 1984.  I like that it shares the same wheels/tires as my 5844 Pajero.

I think white is great, although if you were to get a black sharpies and colour all 25 or so of the nuts black, that'd look awesomer.

Built this up yesterday popped on an older body I had. Full bearings, stock silver can, waiting on a receiver to run it.

Think I may opt for aluminum wheels at some point and paint the included body brown. And give that pale driver some color!

No pics yet but I painted the vectra, hood and roof look like garbage but hopefully the decals will hide most of it. Tested a few color combos on some scrap pieces for the gt, they all came out nice so I'm still undecided which colors I’ll go with .

I’ve just done mine in Ford Roman Bronze. I think brown will look good. The gold stickers look really good against dark colours IMHO

Popped a BZ in my Super Blackfoot. Goes good with a 2s but I think it kicked into limp mode after doing some donuts in my driveway. Ill run it again tonight and see whats that all about.

Subaru Brats in black they do look nice. I remember doing one in black many years ago. It's the best color for the truck IMHO, and yours look very nice.

picked up some parts from mailman, black wheel nuts with the serrated faces, the TA02 highspeed gear set from Micheals topforce 17 arrived with 22t pinion. i also ordered 2 17t 0.8mod pinions from LHS. they were low in stock and i will be going brushless in the manta in the future and i still want to use the HW1080 and the 15T brushed motor on the kits i have. the sport tuned motor i planned for the TD will still be used on TD but will be shunted to the sabre so i can put the current manta setup on the td with correct pinion to match.
