It’s white but dries clear. Can be used to make small transparencies.

It's a water based glue with some polymer bonding content?  Like an enhanced version of clear Tacky glue.. ?

Since I did not plan on making plastic models beyond the two egg-planes I made earlier this year (I realized I just cannot see very well these days enough to build static models), I used Tamiya cement.  Worked fine in my case.

It was a rainy day,  I've spent most of it working on the TC contest photo with the help of my wife. It was fun, and now there's plumpkin all over the place!

this is not the actual picture but it gives the idea 🌝👻

was this an "accidental" impact or did the pumpkin sneak/ambush the car? LOL.

Cut out my Alfa body, was meant to do this last week but got side tracked. Unfortunately I never noticed a factory crease in the front lower section where the cut line is. I cut the body out, and as my blade was going through this section I noticed the polycarbonate was a bit thinner and it pulled my blade towards the body. Now I have a small crease and a cut that isn't quite straight. Will just have to make the best of it. 😔

Mine had a small imperfection there as well @berman, must be something in the mould? I don’t think it’s helped with all the screw bags rattle around inside the shell in the box.

@berman and @Re-Bugged just checked mine and it's the same situation with a couple of issues along that line, which is verrrrrry thin. So at least we all share in the imperfection ;)

I was just thinking today it’s probably a good idea to reinforce that front valance with some self adhesive mesh and shoe goo.

As usual not strictly today but the Bowler is coming along nicely. I have a rally cockpit on the way which will make the view inside better. I also need to find some thinner double sided sticky foam pad as if you look carefully there is a gap between the body and the Perspex. Have done drivers window open. I am still waiting for some extra sponsors stickers, particularly ELF.   I’ve had the mud flaps for over two years but on the defender was lower and if you rolled backwards the flaps would go under the wheels!!

My old body is split in all four corners, so I would certainly recommend doing this.

@Re-Bugged @Juhunio @Badcrumble, it certainly looks like a common occurrence. Maybe it's something in the way the body is released from the mould, because it's not apparent on my older body. Thank you for the help. Will persevere 🙂

I knocked this out today. The Yokomo decals are just horrible to work with.

The foil ones in particular will just not conform to contours even with lots of heat. Creases are unavoidable.😐

Super slow RC day for me as I had to physically go to the office today.  I think I'm going to pull out Billy's Beetle for a spin later.

So it appears FedEx lost my package of tires and wheels or super backed up in Indianapolis.   I payed near $100 for express freight out of Asia and it's probably taking longer than EMS.. LOL that's life.   Has not moved since Thursday morning..

I'm deciding on whether to build a SHERP body I saw at their site from scratch or get started on the full sized SandScorcher next.  I would need to buy another GF01TR if I go with the SHERP idea..

Update.. I realized SHERP is a skid steer so would look too weird with a GF01TR.   I suppose I’ll just make my own version box..

Same on my Giulia, actually got two creases on the same location:

Which is a treat to drive as RC and also in Assetto Corsa!

*EDIT: not my video

I added TL01 arms to an MF01x to make the base of a wider stance truck. Short adjuster on the CVA mini, no internal spacer and 39 mm dogbone. Will probably need to add more preload when the motor goes in!

I made upper arms with 3 mm stainless studding (16mm gap between adjusters, which is 10 mm longer than the instructions, reflecting a 10 mm wider arm) and  used long ball adjusters to clear the prop housing.

@OoALEJOoO OffTopic: My second hobby is driving PC sim (wheels, pedals, handbrake setup). So i also drive that sim, but mostly a very Modded vesion of Richard Burn Rally/GrandPrix legends (as the games have great physics most new gsmes fo not have). New sims often feels more like Arcade game but Asetto Corsa is good sim game

The one of the rear oil dampers was leaking so wiped that off and inspected. It appears the oil was seeping from the cap so tightened it some more and will monitor if it continues to leak.  This time I used AE’s GreenSlime between and around the red o-rings that came with the CVA Mini’s so it shouldn’t leak this soon from the shaft side..

Then proceeded to swap the eye sore green and yellow motor wires.

Before..  (car is on a WR02 tire stand)
