After a year and a half, just put a speedie and receiver in my Hotshot, along with a set of lightweight wheels and hybrid spikes. It now runs and will continue to sit on the shelf ;)

I had my eye on that, but price went too high! Like your Blackfoot idea :)

it had to be mine lol . Price was high because i refused to be out bid :D

EDIT -Missed out on the Blackfoot i was bidding on but its no big deal . I'll buy a Blackfoot III bodyset when funds allow. I like the stepside more anyway .

Dropped into the Australian distributor of Mugen Seiki on my way home from work to unpack and collect my new race kit (and a new pit mat) & although not the focus of this forum, it is my racing side of the hobby. These are a brand new release and this is literally the first one in Australia. One very happy chappy right here:

Have to get this built ASAP for a big race meet I've got coming up, so all other projects are on hold, for now.

Last night i decided it was time to clear the RC work space of some parts that had sat there for far too long.

RX into my Rough rider so it can be run again.

Swapped out the nasty yellowed plastic Clod wheel rims for some nice shiny chrome ones.

Put all the necessary electric ancillaries into the VLB box ready for my son to build.

Tidied the wiring in the Avante 2001 build

General tidy then so i have a clean desk for the Monster Beetle rebuild and complete the brushless rough rider.

Looks too tidy now

Got the Monster Beetle box of cleaned components out of storage - now on the work desk :D

Then had a mad ten minutes on eBay

Losi Excelorin 10.5 brushless motor - for the Durga when its stripped and rebuilt !

Novak GT7 ESC - looked interesting for little money

Tamiya Lightly tuned motor

At least I'll be able to post in the 'what did the postman bring you..' thread again

Finished rebuilding my TLT, just a clean up, new bearings, stainless bolts etc. Ordered some bling for it too :) Hopefully get the electrics in today, then sort a body for it. What breaks on these?

Installed the ESC, receiver and the driver of my Avante today:

Paranoid Perry is not driving this one, surprisingly. The side 'consoles' were hand-painted with random details to resemble an electronics-packed cockpit.

Rebuilt the monster beetle, actually got my interest back in rc building up the chassis; let's hope sorting the body doesn't kill my new found enthusiasm.

Installed the lightly tuned motor for now, the extra torque over a silver can should be plenty to push this little devil along.

Finally got around to organizing most of my leftover screws and bits from other builds. Also managed to fit my spare motors, rx's and servos in there too. Turned out all right I think.

Dropped the Monster Beetle into a bag of oven cleaner before departing for work this morning - roll on 5 o'clock when i can see what horrors lurk underneath the old paint :(

just placed another parts order , this time for scorcher P and L part sprues plus some TS paints

Very jealous! :D I've just finished getting my 6T ready for a weekend of racing as well. They're lovely trucks, easy to work on and pretty much bomb proof!
