Thanks mate, it took me ages to pluck up the courage to cut out the original moulded headlight lenses to fit those. She’s all done now though and I am pretty chuffed with it. Just waiting for some nice weather for a photo shoot, and a drive !! 😃

Those headlights are fantastic. Would love to know what you fitted there?

Started the interior assembly and painted a window trim on the windshield along with turn indicators and smoked the lenses for the headlamps.

Still a ways to go.. I need the cement to cure before I cement the top and bottom halves as it is a bit tricky to line up the cement points.. or not.. will see how it goes over the weekend.  :D

The torso is a solid piece (no cavity) and heavy!

That looks real good.  I don't know anything about bikes, but I've always wanted the Honda Repsol and Suzuki Exter GSX plastic models.  Too late now, I can't see worth crap these days even through my magnifying lens.. so will settle on a.

Just kidding. ;)    No more Lego's for me, besides making indoor terrain later on.

Haha, I am planning on getting the new Technic BMW 1000RR as it looks very cool. But decided to polish and clean up my Modified Lego Technic Ducati Panagale. Added a front mudguard, brake caliper, brake levers and rear caliper too. Also took 4mm off the rear spring so it sits more realistic.

This is ridiculous. I cant even do a screenshot to show my problem as it goes over my upload limit!!!!!!!

Is it this picture you want to post? As @Badcrumble said I've clicked on Embedded Codes, then copied the Original-URL. After that click on the "Insert other media" button and choose insert image from URL. Then paste the link. Should work then.

This is what I was trying to post. A new body for my TT02S . The colour is Core RC metallic purple backed with metallic silver then black. Not sure what colour to do the spoiler. Black or body colour? Mirrors will be black. I have some other touring car wheels , the same diameter as these but these seem narrow. They came with the chassis. What treaded tyres are available for touring cars?

I had to delete some old photos to post this as I’d reached my limit. Tried to use tcphotos.net but I can’t upload and some pictures just don’t seem to appear in the album. I think I will clear it out and start again. I have copies of all the photos so it’s no real big deal!!

The picture I wanted to post doesn’t appear in my album ? They do if you click where it says number of pictures they all appear but without all the bits that you two have described??.

Today I finished rebuilding my TL01 after a rock jumped out at me and the right lower suspension arm mount snapped off. This meant I needed the motor and rear gearbox cover replacing but, as all the chassis comes on the same spur I ended up with a new chassis.

So, as you do I got my dremel out and “enlarged” the battery tray to take a rectangular lipo. Then, inspired by a post on either here or tamiyabasewhere someone made their own carbon prop shaft, I bought some brass tubing to make a replacement (carbon a bit beyond my fabrication skills!). It took a bit of ******ing about but cuts the weight of the original in half and is a shiny gold colour to boot!

looking forward to dry warmer days to see how fast it now goes on 3s…

Okay, unfortunately I can't help you with that as I don't have TCphotos. Sorry. I've thought you just had problems with insert the pictures in your post.

Edit: Just saw you've could fix it for now. Nice car!

A nice upgrade for the front of a TL01 is the U shaped shaft to hold the bottom arms in place instead of the 2 long screws. I believe the TL01B came with it, the front bumper holds it in place. 👍 . Adds alot more strength to that weak lower arm link.

Try double tapping on the image you want to get the menusl up.

Don't use the paperclip to insert photos, just paste the BB code link into the text of the post and it will appear as a photo when you save the pos

Not that good mate, she is a 39 years old model and her fit is just not great anymore. Come to think of it, she is the same age as my wife and they both got the same problem of going out of shape. At least Lego, even after that time, will still fit perfect.

What the heck are we talking about here??!!      How to go from zero to couch in under 5 sec?

James.

Cheers, might look into that but would need the bumpers as well I think as current set up allows you to access mount screws.
Either way the car is a cheap experiment for now, second hand bits to see what works and what doesn’t.

I put 3s through my hotshot re re and broke a drive cup where the dog bone sits so hopefully this one won’t implode!
