@Yoshimitsu Great job.
How did you produce the body seam lines?   Also did the wipers come with the kit?

Panel gap lines are trimline tape.

The decals are a hybrid of the Tamiya kit and aftermarket from RC Decals.👍

@Juhunio great retro livery on an old school 911.

Body panel lines are Kyosho Micron tape or drawn on?

Thanks very much! The panel lines are indeed Kyosho Micron tape

Out of interest, which thickness do you use?

While folks are working on highly detailed projects, I am working on this blob of a botched paint job. :lol:

I need to redo the helmet most likely.. my eyes just cannot see the sanding marks over white these days so next time I may end up powdering it with pencil dust (my son has plenty of that with the sketching he does) and rub it onto the surface to check smoothness before paint

Update..

I need to matte down his hands, but after another round of sanding his helmet and respraying, he looks okay now.. will polish up the helmet and call it a day.  :D

Hmmm the angle adjustibility might help solve my problem of good mounting options vs angled shock tower. Which ones are these?

I've done the DT-03 rear suspension mount mod I had in mind. Cut out of 2mm carbon fibre board. I'm quite optimistic about it. There's considerable extra strength between the arms and reduction in flex. Just hoping the cut I had to make in the gearbox housing to take the rear mount doesn't create a problem.

M3 rod will hopefully be replaced by shock shafts for the pivots.

Attempt 7 of painting a windscreen surround. Actually got as far as some paint this time! ..but the liquid mask failed to give me a sharp enough edge so off it all came again. All out of ideas, and interest now.

Does the windscreen surround have molding? Is it indented or all flush with the rest of the body?

@Mad Zero

I'd be keen to know what the surround is like to.

A good tip I picked up on here was (if there's an indent to work with) Apply a large peice of masking tape along the indent then with a new blade run your scalpel along the indent and remove the tape leaving the surround.

Make sure it's pressed down, then apply your chosen paint. I have never used an airbrush but I imagine it's ideal for this kind of thing. I just used Tamiya flat black acrylic, several coats to eliminate bleed.

Remove tape, Roberts your Mother's Brother.

I'm sure there are better ways. Folk on here are a mine of info 👌

These are generic from AliExpress. Yeah racing has same set at a higher price. I also picked up a set @alvinlwh showed but the post and magnets end up in the rear windshield glass area.

This is another generic one I picked up from AliExpress.  Takes a while to arrive.
