......Pulling wheelies one-handed while operating the camera, she's a good girl.

Just replaced a front gearbox half on a re-re hotshot for a workmate, I think it's really cool that he bought a hotshot for his kids when he's not even into RC himself too much. He went into a store to get something for his boys, eyed a Hotshot, remembered it from when he was a lad, and bought it over and above the plethora of rtr traxxas and the type things in there, very cool IMO. Apparently one of the boys ran it flat out into a tree which cracked the front gearbox half. Not much damage from what he describes

Fitted drop links to the rear top damper mounts on my CC-01 landie project using 1/2 inch cycle chain links . Works great and only cost £2.99 thanks to Halfords :D

Received and installed my Tamiya Blue / Carbon hop ups on my XV-01 Pro courtesy of Bonzai Hobby. Love that place, fantastic prices

I picked up a couple new 55 turn motors for the clod crawler, I'm still trying to get the front and rear speeds right. More pinions and motor leads and early this morning picked up a 1986 model that still has great original tires and wheels plus not even one scratch. Even the bumper looks new.

Finished the Schnitzer M3 shell I started last night. Once the large stripes, windows, and large sponsor decals were in place the pace picked up a little. It was painful trimming every single decal to minimize the clear, but it looks good and I'm glad it's done.

I know what you mean.. All together, I have painted and decaled the Lancia Delta 4 times. It's similar to the Schnitzer.

The newer body kits have precut decals that make life easy. That's what the last Lancia Delta I made had. Wish they would do the same on all the re-re body kits

When this first showed up on craigslist it was listed as a turbo scorpion without the nitro motor. Nothing unusual since the scorpion was electric, no nitro would be normal. I did some digging and determined it was an assault instead. I made an offer on it and let the guy know what it was. The offer was rejected but it was then listed as a turbo assault so a pretty rare one for sure since Kyosho doesn't even remember making that model. I wish it was a tomahawk or scorpion so I wouldn't be looking at converting it to electric, but it was too good to pass up. I'll have the only electric turbo assault when it's all finished. :D

Beside myself right now.....Just secured my most recent "Eleanor". A Kyosho Optima Mid :) a Turbo SE at that. Been chasing one of these for the last 2 years, got real close before, but fell at the last minute. Yet to pay for this one, so hopefully I haven't just sabotaged myself :(

Very excited by this prospect, can't wait

So Kym Is this a NIB SE?? :)

From the sounds of it, It's a NIB.

If so a runner is a must. The most awesome 4wd that still kicks butt!!!!!!!

Unfortunately not NIB mate, but from what I can tell, appears very close to a new built, very, very little use. Not much for me to do I think, strip, clean, rebuild and new body and decals, wheels and tyres also maybe, will post more when I get it ;)

oops.. from my Iphone it was hard to enlarge the pict.. I really thought it was a Tomahawk.I'm presently working on a Turbo Scoprion hybrid. Most of the parts are re-manufactured.. even the tub! I designed a t-plate in the back so that I could drop in the tranny of my TRF201. This way I wont have to worry about nuking the gears lol.

HaHa, hence why I was keen on getting a Mid ASAP, needed one to not take my money later, ready for the Fox. I won't go silly on the fox, probably only one NIB to build, and some parts from JRRC. Can't wait to build one again from new, will let my original NIB stay that way.

I started the conversion to electric on 2 cars. I went a different direction and didn't change the spur gears but instead got pinions to match them.. They're meant for a 5mm shaft but I have Ofna adapters coming to use them on 540 brushless motors. That meant the hard part was motor mounts. I needed two so I cut three, all that's left is to bolt them in and wait for a delivery. Ya I'll debur them too.

Spent the day blasting around with the Micro-T Beetle. Had a great day racing around with my son and his Desert Truck Micro-T. Little buggy is totally nuts. Two diffs later... and it's in the 'needs repair' queue. Gotta be something stronger than these stock diffs. I blow through them in a couple of packs.

Rebuilt the Dyna Storm runner's gear box with ceramic diff balls and new slipper clutch. Then broke both front wishbones, both C-hubs & bent universal in a speed & manhole induced cart wheel. not quite used to the 5.5 brushless power yet!

Think I need to find a more suitable place to run the cars other than the close I live in....
