I took the scorcher back to it's 6 year old owner of sorts. He's the third generation to play with it. I had it just to get it running again. So, new battery, ESC and servo with a good radio plus tune up.

The all white inferno has been upside down a few times and it's still white.

The HPI king crawler is actually pretty decent. 4 link with solid axles and no diff anywhere. For it's price it would be a good chassis to do something with. It's just a crawler for my daughter to mess with here.

The hot rod is finally finished and been driven around a bit.

Stadium truck in the back is parts for another just like it that was purchased to be a racing partner for my SC10. It goes to my daughter as well.

That body on the inferno looks way too large, you sure the buggy is a 1/8 scale, maybe the buggy is the 1/10 TR15 (or something like that I think it's called)

Last night i fitted the missing front gearbox output shafts to my Vajra, and at the same time managed to bend the knuckle 'arm' that holds the steering ball. It then broke straight off - what the ****, brand new parts ! I have a 20yr old Vanquish one on the other side and thats absolutley fine. Went onto rcmart and have now ordered the yeah racing black alloy hubs, i've not even got the electrics in this yet and already a broken part :(

I'm not sure which inferno it is and ya it seems a bit long to me too. I knew whatever I put on it wouldn't last too long so I went with it while I look for another body. The next one will probably be something local.

This doesn't happen.

I stopped at one of the LHSs that still support brushed motors for an ESC and had a look at thier bodies hoping to find one that might fit the inferno. A factory body for it marked down from 39.98 to 2.99 still in the bag. Lucky would have been finding anything that would fit.

Knuckled down to some quality bashing over on the green during the BH weekend, had an idle moment and zip tied an old Iphone 4 to the rear wing stay see what quality footage it churn out

Good job the phone was fubar'd beforehand!

After about 6 months of reliable bashing since its last diff rebuild on the Astute, I had two failures back to back. Thinking of going back to a less powerful brushed motor on this car as 9t, fun as it might be, is a killer

After taking inspiration from Dirt-540's 'How to Guide' I've just constructed my new spray booth (with the help of my little boy, also pictured). He does think its a tent though so I think I'm gonna have to let him play with it before I actually get to paint in it

To finish that one I pulled the cracked wing out of the trash and fixed it.....lucky I hadn't taken out the trash yet. I did celebrate the price by purchasing a nice stadium truck body.

Steve i've being using exactly the same thing for ages now . If you have old vac cleaner its easy to rig up a fume extraction system and some heat using a hair drier . I've also added a shelve and a turn table - old microwave parts lol .

Bought a NIB Voltec Fighter BoyRacer series two years ago from my LHS. Decided to build it today. Upon finishing, the stickers were missing from the box. SIGH......

Spent an hour huffing and puffing after going to Taekwondo and turning out to be the only student that appeared! one hour of intensive scrutiny and help with improving techniques! not having to pay for a personal coach= bonus! lol then spent a couple of hours scraping chrome off of the front grille/bumper of the Ford Ranger resto, more to go yet! "Sigh"

Fitted the 3racing shock tower assembly to my DT-02 Sand Rover,

DSCF6016_zps4578af16.jpg

Didn't realise the dt-02 had spat it's dummy out. :P:lol:

E2A, Nice part, good quality and seems much stronger than the Tamiya part although I haven't run it yet.

: Those are up-side-down oil dampers. Blitzer beetle/ DF-03 items with the stock friction shock bottoms (blue bits)

Built my Pro-Line power stroke shocks for my SC10, and cleaned my Ultima RB5 & Lazer ZX5, after a set up session at my local club yesterday. RB5 is going well, very solid and happy with its performance. ZX5 still has some issues, mainly being a broken front shock tower and not able to complete my testing.

Just finish building another boy racer series, Thunder Blitz, after completing my earlier Voltec Fighter.

These 2 RCs cars are for my 4 and 6 yr old sons. Since one came without stickers, both must be without stickers lol. (When u have 2 kids, all toys must be come in pairs!!)
