Always fancied a go at a London Rowing club helmet. Just a very simple but effective design.

Masked and ready for paint..

Good to hear you got your claim sorted!   Are you able to salvage the flooded RC cars at all?   I mean I've restored quite a few M38's that appeared to have gone into the sewer and back.. and yet they look quite new now and runs like new.    more cars to ya.

Nice choice on the M17.  I hear good things about them.

GL with the recovery!

For me today, I think I am going to work on the Optima body..

Yep I'm going to rebuild some of the damaged ones, the biggest issue is time

I should be able to get the TRF102 track ready, but i doubt the TA07's will see the track again as the cost of new pulleys, steering etc will be prohibitive. The 8th buggies will take so long to do and have been replaced anyway. I will clean the FF04 and TA07 up for the shelf though.

I bought the M17 for the backwards compatibility (new MT5 doesn't have that) but apparently its faster and better(er) so we shall see. Also have all sanwa servos now so will see about those different modes as I think you can program servos now?

I am still missing .....and yellow PS paint for the Scorpion.

Just an fyi....if you're doing the Scorpion in box art, you'll need to order PS Camel Yellow as a backer to the PS Yellow.   I saw this as a suggestion somewhere on the internet (can't recall where at the moment) but the regular yellow on its own will not match the molded yellow tub.   I did three coats of yellow followed by two of camel yellow.

Continued on my cougar classic but cant figure out how to mount the larger/thicker wing mounts provided. The stock wing mounts can go on easily.

Been building the Yokomo BD11 today and it is very different from anything I've built before. I really hope its as fast as it is complicated!

Does anyone have experience with the TB05? Are the carbon side stiffeners necessary for a low grip track? They are on the TA07, but i've orderedthe TB05R which has a carbon reinforced chassis so the additional stiffeners may not be necessary?

I turned my Hornet into a 'Fire Dragon'.

The Fire Dragon body set comes with the body precut and ready for a Hornet.  The spacer is a blue anodized metal.  I will paint the body ps18 metallic purple with black edges.

Awesome!   Thanks for the info.  I do have cans of Camel Yellow so will back the yellow with it.  B)

Next will be installing the LED bulbs and detail the driver's face and helmet while waiting for the front star-dish rims and tires. I already have the rear star-dish wheels.

Had a blast with the boys from our street.

The result: one hour of fun and 4 empty battery packs.

The boys are 5, 5, 6 and 39 years old :D.
