Your Kyosho driver looks good @Willy iine😁👍 Mine is likely to see some action soon as the Mid is by now 99% complete. Last details to be done hopefully within today!

These are the most recent photos I took of it, when starting the body shell a couple weeks ago but by now they are "old" as it's almost done

Put pajero wheels/tamiya mud tires.. i think cc-01 goes well together with stock tamiya wheel/tires.

New servo and what ended up being a new chassis for the TL-01….. Also added new rally blocks and TRF Shocks  

Not too shabby for a 24 year old model……

Thanks @Ferruz and nice job cutting the MID body.  It's a pretty tricky body to cut imo.  Looking forward to your finished pictures. 

Coincidentally, I am also working on another MID body and just got done painting it..  picture from about 30 min ago.. did a test fit before paint.

I am in love with the Mid silhouette... so clean, simple, effective and yet pleasing to the eye.

I just finished mine and the weather is good not only for the first "official photoshoot", but also for the maiden run 🔥

But one thing at a time: here is my take on the 2022 Kyosho Optima Mid, I hope you'll like it! 😊 More photos will be in the picture only thread soon.

Got the Jimny out today to test the hair bun tire inserts and vented tires, did pretty decent for around 32*f on cold rocks, though I need to cycle the snot out of the 5000mAh NiMH stick pack, only got about 5 minutes out of it today🙄

That is just so so good. ❤️❤️❤️ Plus the snow and the shadows. Stunning. I've got to pull my finger out and get mine out of the box. 

I was thinking to do mine box art but I haven't studied the detail really yet. Is yours straight up box art or have you deviated?

Today I took the TT-02some out for a drive to test the suspension. Accident’s ensued.

I had my first run of my new Micro Magic sailboat yesterday - it's a very nice thing, and actually fits in my boot! No more borrowing my wife's station wagon, just to go (RC) sailing.

I ran my Kyosho Mini Z Jimny, and was very quickly reminded why I just spent almost AUD$200 in yet more upgrades - it hasn't got the clearance or approach angles to be very good off-road.

So 2 years ago today I joined TC.  Thanks for the fun 2 years.      There's more to come, but man.. this attachment memory limit is annoying.  The site could have an option to resize pictures automatically (like a tablet mode) and post the appropriate size for everyone (<1000 dpi)?   I rarely use my computer to view the forums these days.  It's mostly iPad.. so it does not have to be large heavy pictures unless someone intentionally wants to show high definition pictures via an external host..

Anyway, rest of this year I am looking forward to the pretend RC shop expansion and building a couple more Kyosho and Tamiya cars.

Thanks again, @OnTheTrail!  I backed the yellow with camel yellow per your recommendation and the amount of coats.  Looks like a great color match to me.

Funny you asked, I just posted a "make" pic of it out there a few minutes ago. For something that fit so well, I can't believe the guy that created it doesn't have any feedback on it. It's been posted out there for almost 5 years. 

I didn't even think of using Pearl White. I'll check Amazon and see if they happen to have it. I'm still waiting for the shipment from Tower to arrive. 

Just replying to say I got one of these printed and it's a nice little win for my XV-01 which now has plenty of space in the electronics box.

Do you not see an option to choose image size when attaching from iPad camera roll? For me I get choices (small, medium, large, original) and each show assumed Mb for the given size. TC MIGHT rescale again at import but unlikely unless the forum code was intentionally set that way.

Just discovered that RCmart has an eBay store with free delivery to the UK.

Ordered the TT02 Type S steering set to see how good the service is, costs just shy of £35, where the best price I can find in the UK is £58.

Wow, are they back..  I just recently whined about their Terrible 5% discounts, all bonuses seems to be RCm branded random stuff you should get for free and you can not trust their VOEC handling… i must «run» and check for myself  edit: hopefully the good deals to Norway inkl shipping is back.
