Wow I’d love one but too rich for my budget!!😢

That’s a shame it would be nice to see it go to a good home.

It’s been sat in the storage box far too long - well over 7 years now 🤦

Treated myself to a new radio today. The pots on my 4PX that I’ve had since 2014 are starting to act up so it was time for an upgrade

Nice!  I keep eyeing that one myself as my 4PK is nearing the end of it's life... Any first impressions?

After being sidetracked by a bucket load of different things, I got the Frog back on the road again. Again I'm surprised by how quick these are on a Sport Tuned motor/NiMH.

Loving it so far! Just like 4PK and 4PX, build quality and feel are top notch unlike my Spektrum DX5C which looks and feels cheap. The touch screen is a real game changer, it’s so much easier to navigate and change settings now versus having to use the jog wheel. The screen has a wider viewing angle too compared to the 4PX. Weight without the battery and APA adapters is about the same as the 4PX and my 4PK which I put on a diet (removed the battery tray, optional short antenna, removed the rear wheel cover). The included LiFe battery is only 1100mah but is super thin and weighs in at only 60g. Only downside for me is that the 10PX no longer supports FASST C2 receivers. I have 5 of those that I can’t use with the new 10PX but I do have more S-FHSS and T-FHSS receivers that will work with the 10PX

For me worked on my Golf-R this morning removing the old clear bra I installed 6 yrs ago when the car was new.  I decided to go without from this point forward as I noticed the areas I drive this car usually has little to no kick up so no need for clear bra.  Everywhere else, I'll take my WRX or STI both with clearbra or just take the Forester..

@Willy iine love seeing you work on your 1:1 cars, it’s motivating me to work on a couple of mine that have been neglected for a while now. Like I haven’t been able to drive my 86 for over a year now due to a misfiring engine that isn’t throwing any codes. I’m hoping it’s just plugs and I’d change them myself but due to the tight clearance (boxer engine problems) and me having big hands I need to have it towed to a shop instead. The fuel on it is probably stale now too and needs to be drained. My 9 month old child (our first) and the high risk pregnancy of my wife took up and continues to take up a lot of my free time but it’s all worth it. At least with RC I get to work on them while being near my family. By the way I really love your Supra! Been lusting after it before it even came out and especially now with the available 6MT :D

Yeah, kids are a huge task for sure.. especially the first 10 years was a challenge for me.. really understood the meaning of "busy".. not just lack of time, but psychologically so much to think about and familiarize and learn and etc etc.. being parents.   I am on my last leg of raising my 2 boys and I think it's been worth the effort.

Supra is a great car.. not too expensive so quite attainable without sacrificing anything.  I like the ZF8 transmission so I do not plan to switch to the MT.. I like MT on slower cars like my 4 cylinder turbo cars.. I would consider the GR86 in MT though, that should be a fun ride.   Hope you get your 86 figured out!

Congrats again on your radio.  :D

Organising - or at least trying to. I bought 5 of these IKEA Kuggis boxes and lids - at ÂŁ22 a pop that's some investment! Thinking I'd be able to store hide all my Tamiya bits inside.

Well, I never throw anything away, so I've accumulated far too much stuff. The lids won't go on. Now I'm stuck trying to explain all the mess to my Mrs who only agreed to getting said boxes if it meant I could put the tatty kit boxes in the loft after. But now we have both sets of boxes and she's not being very understanding

Am thinking of having a sort through and posting what I can identify on the "Pass it Forward" thread, since I clearly don't need all this stuff! All 5 boxes are like this:

Thanks for the info.  Nice to know it still has a bit of "heft" to it... the fear is irrational, but I was actually worried it would be too light and feel cheap.  The lack of FASST support is a bummer (I have 20 or so C1 FASST Rx's that I would LOVE to swap over), but I'm looking at it as more of a clean start.  Already had to do it a few times (AM --> FM --> FASST C1 --> ???), so once more is likely not a deal breaker.  I'd likely keep the 4PK + FASST C1 for older cars, and just start over with the 10PX for new stuff/runners.

Now to just justify the price.....

A rare treat for me today - some ‘T’ time!

Alternating days for the gym, means rest day today.

Tax returns for 22-23 now ready for my accountant to pick up.

Wife away, kids away or busy, house music playing in the back ground - what a peachy day 💥

Back to the real world on Monday 😂

1080C19F-76C4-452D-BB66-8735813C9A58.jpg. Did this little lot. These are L&L’ s set for their body. You get no diagram with these so it’s all down to checking pictures on the net. Then getting the order right. The bulls tail covers part of one of the stickers on each side!!!! Then there’s the thickness. You could re roof the O2 centre with this lot. Then there’s using the old wet and heat method? We’ll forget the wet as the slightest amount of moisture seems to dissolve the glue and then a micro second too much heat and the edges turn up and seem to turn crispy!!  They are however pre cut, sort of. In the end I got them mostly on though I have some black grill bits to do. From a distance it looks terrific but it won’t be wining any concours d’elegance!!! Have say though it’s one dam fine looking car.

A bit of spannering on one of my favourite runners (possibly favourite, certainly the most aerobatic!)

Then proceeded to chase the hound around the garden...

Well I didn’t get to progress on the Sand Scorcher today as planned, when I put it away a year ago I was short a lower arm and 3 bushes….still haven’t got them 😂

Anyhow will track the missing parts down and pick this one up again soon hopefully 😳

Gym tomorrow, some life admin and then maybe I’ll sort out the soft front springs on our Lunchbox…this has been on my ‘T’ to do list just over 3 years now 🤦

Cleaned the Juggers rims in preperation for painting, too bad the tires are glued on that doesn't help. I'll pick up some masking tape that can curve easily this weekend to mask off the tires.

Gave the grille its first layer of paint, but that came out rough and I clearly did not sand the filler correctly so back to the sand paper, try again tomorrow. A good lesson that I need to pay better attention to these detailed things.

Then again, I always disliked painting, so much work!

They both look amazing, as always. Full set of carbon parts? Is that Kyosho carbon? It doesn't look shiny like my YR stuff. Any chance of a side by side pic of your cars with the two different CF parts sets on?

Intrigued also as to your paint and wheel choices on this one. I'm sure it'll be stunning.

Pushed the boat out today and spent big 😂

£9 on Lunchbox windows as I stupidly broke them being clumsy the other day 🤦

£6 on some repro rubber bushes for SRB shocks 😎

That’ll do for now 💥

Thanks those are both Kyosho carbon fiber decks.  I will be posting with the others soon including the YR deck one.

This one will run the MID-Night body which is black with red accents.  B)

      Hi Jon,
In the linked image, I've simply moved the bar forward until it is centered directly over the rear shock tower (approx. 10.72mm) and kept the same height.  Is this what you had in mind?

I've also reached out to you on Thingiverse via you R53JRC user name.
