That's awesome!

I need more tanks. I have a Tiger I and an M26 and an M4A1 that I converted into an M4A3(76)W VVSS.

I really wish someone would do an M18 or an M24. In both of the popular tank games on the market the M18 is hugely popular. If someone were to do one in 1/16th I'd be all over it. I'd sell a lung for that.

Just ordered some threaded 3mm rod so I can make a pair of strut braces for our Lunchbox, it really doesn’t need them but I wanted to scratch that itch 😂

Big thanks to @junkmunki who has offered me the parts I need to move my stalled Sand Scorcher forward - super guy who it turns out lives near to some family of mine 👍

Not necessarily.. depends on where and how you drive too.  What are your camber and toe angles?

It is somewhere between 0 and 45 degrees 🤣 I set it up by eye.

This time quite serious. I just changed angles and there was some oversteer. Previously everything was fine and there were no marks on tires.

After I finished run, I found what you can see on the photos. It looks like too much camber.

Had a little monster truck session with my daughter. She ran her Stampede and I ran my WT-01. She hit the ramp for the first time and I find it impressive how fast she improves her driving skills.

Just set up the LB now sufficiently on the T/X to call this well and truly done - I’ve owned it well over 10 years 😂

I’ll add the chassis braces next just because, but now as far as Tamiya is concern my focus will turn back to the stalled vintage Sand Scorcher 👍

A lot of Jugger painting.

Body and bed are sprayed 2 times. Need to correct some small issues and then a final coat.

Tailgate and rear bumper are ok.

Grille is ready.

Interior and cover plate for the bed are half way

So today was productive. ^_^

Dismantled my M06 pro after losing a tooth on the counter gear after a nasty crash while racing yesterday 😩 still I finished the race, just sounded a bit rough 😂

it’s difficult to see in the photo but one tooth has rolled slightly

Been giving the cars a good thrashing this weekend. Big fan of the skateboard ramp. Not so much of a fan of my dog attacking the wheels of anything that moves.

My Outlaw Pro continues to be the most impressive car in my fleet. If this were a Tamiya it would have given up ages ago.

However; I did take one really bad tumble, hit the ramp and came down hard on the front bumper / skid thing.

Chances of straightening this metal piece out? It's almost 2mm thick, and very tough. I'm thinking I need to strip it down and stick it in a vise.

Going to price up a spare body too, this one is really rather knackered now.

I went to the RC Kicks meet in West London. A lot of fun, but foolishly I didn't take a photo of my table whilst actually there. Have this one from before I set off:

Ran everything except the crawler. Did I hear that Avante's are fragile?

Seeing as that was my only damage of the day and easily repaired, I'm very happy. Evo and Super Madtute were excellent on track an bode well for me taking them racing, starting next weekend.

@ChrisRx718 Ouch!  Sorry to see, hope you get that fixed soon!

For me, did a lot of organizing in my garage after my am drive in my 1:1 Golf-R to provide some permanent space for my RC gear.  I quickly realized I need a dedicated rolling drawer with work top to store my RC things, so ordered a small one.. it's a metal 20x18x37" rolling drawer with ball bearing drawers and maple + polyurethane coated work top..  I can do some quick work on the RC cars and then roll the drawer off to the corner while not in use.  Hope to have it soon.  B)   In the meantime, ordered a couple more aluminum RC stands as I decided I will display the cars on top of the cabinets.

And painted the Beetle.. nothing special, just doing box art livery on this car for outdoors.  Kogawa-san showed me his car and I plan to just copy his.. with maybe a minor twist.  I wanted to use up my corsa-gray paint I used on the M06 Beetle.  I have 2 more spare bodies so one of them I plan to do a solid metallic blue..(lighter color than PS59)... and maybe a rust - orange - copper color down the road..

Finished off stickering the Javelin wearing its new red cage. The original white block stripes on the wing didn’t quite look right for me, so my wife picked up some self adhesive vinyl from a craft shop and I could then proceed with putting my own stamp on it. I was planning on silver rather than a chrome finish but no silver to be had. I’m actually very happy with it now though.

I’m thinking a fresh new set of wheels/tyres and maybe springs to would smarten it right up nicely.

Today I took the blitzer beetle and the saint dragon to a park.

The blitzer beetle looked very good running, I could easily see the suspension working nicely on the little hills.

The dragon also ran nicely but it might need a hotter motor just to give it an extra kick when it's offroad.

I'll try to take some pics next time.

I'm trying to decide what car to get next, here's the shortened list;
Madbull  (It's kinda ugly yet cheap but I like the big wheels and solid axle)
Fire Dragon  (a local store has it on sale)
Midnight Pumpkin (the lunchbox is my current fave runner so this could be an excuse to get another one)

Decided to start my durga, I wasn’t going to go anywhere near it until I caught up with the other rc’s I’ve yet to finish and other things that need to be done around the house all I wanted to do was have a quick look at the manual

thanks @Elbowloh for the invaluable tip about the tiny very thin O rings in the ball diff I  would have definitely snapped those little blighters!

I realized I had enough left over parts from hopping up my TT-02 Type S so last night I decided to build a second one. I’ve replaced tub, arms, hub carriers, uprights, suspension mounts, shocks, damper stays, steering, lightweight rear swing shafts and front double cardan shafts, installed titanium screws, so pretty much the entire chassis has been upgraded . So far I think I only need to buy the B parts for the bumpers and body posts, suspension arm outer shafts, some flanges and ball connectors for the front uprights. I’m trying to keep the cost low so I will be buying cheap Chinese hopups for it like the prop shaft and steering.

Oh nice.  I picked up a unbuilt kit myself.  Let me know if there are any lessons learned I need to look out for :)

this weekend I have pondered the many hours I have cursed, grimaced, searched under tables in dark corners and many other tedious things, all because I didn't have one of these:

Honestly, best tool I ever bought. Might not use it often, but no more e-clips springing off to places unknown, no damage to plastic, shaft or clip - just a simple controlled push and clip is either engaged or disengaged depending on what way round you use it.

Picked up a used Tamiya Stadium Blitzer and compared to Nissan Titan DT – 02 for size. Interesting to see Stadium Blitzer is much more narrower and lower than Nisan Titan. To be honest I prefer Nisan Titan over Blitzer based on proportion, scale and size.2472E573-7E73-402C-B3E0-0410FF01F018.jpeg.a1cac3df88f1d43b83eb59f04b3695d5.jpeg

Made some progress on them shed, enough so that I moved my desk and work stuff in. I'll finish off the refurb in breaks from work.

It'll also be my bike workshop, RC area, chill out area. The other end (it's 5m long) of the shed is already lined, but full of boxes of stuff (mostly books) that needs to be sorted. Collected a few pallets that I'm going to be making into shelving for the books.

I've prototyped a bike hanger (in the photo) from cut-offs and garden stakes. Need 4 of these for the walls, with one bike kept on a turbo.Compress_20230424_131204_4763.thumb.jpg.fcfbdf27992de56672babbfffcd3d26b.jpg

Got my old Chesterfield sofa and arm chair to go in here too for relaxation.

Slowly, slowly coming along.

Its a Ps1 White finish and im very pleased with the end result, its basic but no major errors this time. And I think i will i just have to go out and buy a basher out off the box like Mad Van because i know i will Cringe wen this roll over on Tarmac (belive the spoiler will go first), nothing fancy here but i always get a personal attachment to the kits i «build» so far.

Well im starting to get the hang off the basic skills.
