That an 834B?  Lovely looking cars.  First 4WD world champion if I recall correctly.

Today i went to a local RC store to use a old cash gift to buy some TRF dampers, well that was the plan but i ended up with going way over gift limit:

I think i just became one off you Guys 🤔

Prices @ Samirc.no is very good on Tamiya models (to be in Norway) after they started taking off 20 to 30% away from the original price. The also had 2 45th Anniversary Porche models on standard price, its dangerous to go into a RC store

After driving my 1:1 WRX STI, drove my XV01 Delta in front of my house for a test drive.  Ran well especially with the new servo saver and the added weight from the heavier servo itself.

The BZ motor with stock pinion is sufficient for me.. I mean it's not fast at all (slower than my Scorpion and Kyosho Beetle) but not slow either, so for the time being this will do.   B)   The tires did not peel off the wheels with hard-ish cornering so I think I can go without gluing them.  I will mostly be driving on unprepared parking lots so should be okay.

I need to brag that my lawn is the greenest in the entire community.. :D

Pulled all the tape off, one of my nicest results. Still cleanup and detailing to do.

It took 3 coats black for the trim,

3 coats of PS17 green backed with black once

Ragged nearly 2 full packs through the USA-1 at the beach, love that thing!! Came away unscathed and after a hose down I sat a fixed my mod Clod after I tore up the front upper 4link mount some weeks ago.
All in a good RC day, a good bash and more running now than when I got outa bed

I started on the TD4 build this weekend and gave the Type SR a bit of a test run. It lost a tyre so they’ll definitely need gluing.

Finally finished the A110 body set for the M-06 today.  This is the first shell I've ever done and made a whole ton of mistakes along the way.  There were errors in cutting the shell, painting, and even the sticker order .  Still feels good to finally finish one from scratch and learned alot along the way.

Also gave a shot at the body line tape but realized I should of gotten something substanially thinner than what I had :D.  Will have to find something to replace that in the future then give it another shot.

I think the front spoiler could use some trimming, otherwise you did a good job for a first timer!

Much appreciated @Kowalski86! Will most definitely need to adjust/trim the front a bit. Originally left it cause I wanted to try a different look but probably will have to shorten it before it gets eaten up by the asphalt.

If you're not careful it can get caught by something and rip the shell, that happened to my NSU.

Walked past my RC collection  and smiled on the way to the front door.  Just inside the front door, I have an envelope marked Tamiya BBX pinned to the wall as a reminder that I'm on the reserved waiting list for it.  Smile went to neutral resting face as I continued on my way to work and pondered why Tamiya has such a long lead time on this..

Had a great outing with my lady today (the second and more "relaxed" part of two little events for my birthday). We rented out a minuscule paddle boat and went exploring a lake. After that, I got the chance to run the Hornet at a tiny nearby beach, which was welcome and unexpected. Good I had it with us, as I haven't yet used any other car on sand. Good times :)

Another quick walk to the BMX track.

The GF01 handled great, and handled the loose dusty BMX track really well, although I think it could do with a speed boost - nothing silly, but just a little more pep. Probably just moving to a LiPO would be enough, but I've got an all NiMH set up at the moment, so I think a faster motor will have to do. Just want another 25% of so over the Torque Tuned. For my MF01x I find the Torque Tuned is great around the BMX track, but with the GF01 I felt I was just on full throttle nearly all the time, probably as it's lower geared and a fair bit heavier.

I've got some Li-Ions that I could put in parallel which might work as another option?

Taking shots of a car jumping whilst driving one handed is tricky!

I also took out the QD Beetle. With rear wheel drive this thing just didn't have the grip on the loose gravel track despite the spiked tires.

But did make some cool dust trails. This car only really works on a large flat space of gravel or short grass as it absolutely rips with a brushless motor on 9.6 volts.
