The only thing wrong with this first photo is the single beer… I mean… you need a couple when trying to fit a steering servo and linkages on an M-05!

Could be worse, it could be replacing the battery on this:

Went to a track and had fun.

GF-01 impressed me. Local offroad track is more suitable for larger 10th scale or 8th scale cars.. GF-01 handled jumps well and it is the only car that didn’t break.

So besides putting together 2 super mini CVA's today (yes, I thought they were a pack of 4, but they come pack of 2 so had to order another pack.. lol),

I’ve been there too! I’m glad it’s not just me that makes these mistakes!

What's really dumb is I've bought many of these in the past and still not learned they are $20 for 2 packs.   Perhaps it's the price that throws me off.. those are hardly worth $10 a pop.    They don't even include the clear o-rings.

So glad I bit the bullet and accepted the challenge in the end. But men, painting lexan bodies is so exhausting for me. Took me 4 whole evenings to achieve this result... Pfff...

I’ve only had to do basic masking for lexan but even that has been very patience testing. It looks like your efforts have certainly paid off though, great work.

At least it’s a cheap mistake to make! I certainly wish they were that cheap here.

Yeah, I'm just buying these from Amazon as they seemed to have the best prices from time to time and easy to just hit 'buy again' as I want to make sure I don't accidentally get the standard mini CVA's..  I've done that too.

Decided to finally start building my P34 I purchased long ago. I got to the electronics step and can’t remember if I ever bought any for it, so I guess it’s time to dig through the parts bin or go shopping :)9F40F54C-8B8D-4E23-B7B4-E87C20A1F782.thumb.jpeg.3b37efea27d99d181f503a446ec732b2.jpeg

Wow Tamiya really built one unique chassi mostly in carbon (it looks like) just for this model?. Wanted to build one as it is a piece off unique and special F1 history, even if it was just a brief moment

You have not yet seen the six holes on the rear window 😜

This Skyline R32 body will be my runner body which will fit on my TA03F, FF01 and TRF417V5.

That hurts. Seems to prove that when you want to jump your King Cab you need @Sgt.Speirs TRF201 Transmission Conversion for Nissan King Cab or @Muso31 diff housings or gear diff.

Chassis is FRP and it actually is the same as their f103 cars except has a plate for the front suspension and the large bumper piece, smaller front tires too, which wasn’t as exciting as I was expecting. I thought it’d be way more special and complicated :(.

car on left is actually a f104 with f103 front arms, front of the chassis is same on 103/104

So I stopped building the P34 yesterday and when I started today I learned that except for tires and electronics I actually was done. Not sure how I didn’t realize that yesterday. So I put the tires on started painting the body and now it’s off to order some electronics.

Also, last year I had crashed my silvercan speed run P34, tore off the front end and destroyed the wing . I finished the repairs today and got it ready for more speed runs. Of course like any other time I mess up a body and it needs to be repainted, I gave it the Willy treatment :D

@ImALlama nIce work.  Love the Willy theme.  :D

For me, haven't done anything RC yet today, but do plan on driving my Mini-Z 4x4 next door in the pretend pylon test course in a bit.   B)  This morning I took my 1:1 Golf-R out for another relaxing weekend drive, detailed the car after the drive, then worked on taking apart the hard drives on my Macs and old PowerBooks.  I am now ready to recycle them.
