I have been living in my house for almost 7 years now. I live right by the water and my neighborhood has a beach. About 2 years ago, I bought a Banggood special boat but never ran the thing, until today.

Finally, someone else getting into boats! I started with a FT007 (the baby brother of the FT009 you have) and now have speedboats, a cruiser, 2 sailboats and even a hovercraft! 

The good thing is, even if it pours with rain you can still run your boats

I’ve got several boats. Big MTB , half built sailing boat + a couple of others along with a Proboat 23” river jet and a cheap Chinese jet boat that is being upgraded to brushless lipo power.

I fitted some Fastrax universal driveshafts to my TT-02R after losing a dogbone and cup the other day and not noticing until I got home. Hopefully these will stay put. I had to upgrade the cups to the larger ones as well so these fit, as they didn’t have any of the smaller universal driveshafts in stock at my local shop and I wanted to do some running this weekend. 

I also fitted my new wheels with foam tyres on that arrived today and lowered my TT-02R to it's lowest setting.

Lost a high quality 2mm Allen key. Servicing my bike - there’s a magnetic tray on my bike stand and everything goes on there: tools, parts etc

Job done - tidying up and it is nowhere to be seen. I’m absolutely perplexed!

Spent a hot few hours out in the sun with the family looking at rc gliders majestically riding the wind. Meditative, but also a good lesson in reading the landscape and the difference between looking and seeing.

Light scratchbuild research of the front lamps for the stratos. I’ll build it from a collection of years of shell building cut offs of lexan / or new polystyrene. I will definitely re work the generic auxiliary lamps as a base.

Haven’t done much in a year or more really, but after taking my Scorpion out a week ago, I decided to swap the old school forward-only (Vega V2) esc for a 1060 so I can have reverse. The car doesn’t need big power so it’s fine. When running just for fun you need reverse.

I I like the springs idea holding the silver lamps for painting - are they from clothes pegs or what?

I've wanted a boat for many years. It definitely scratched the itch. I'm not sure if I'll get more into them or not. If anything, I might get some cool scale looking stuff so if it sits for a few years, it's still a cool display item.
