Posting while drinking?   ;)

Drinking tea and water in the hospital, yes - alcohol, not the right place for that sort of shenanigans. :D

I built the DF-03 and my wife finished the body. Gosh, nothing better than fresh box art on a new buggy. It looks waaaay better in person than on the box.

Making progress on my latest build (Carten M210R Plus).  Finished the chassis and got the electronics sorted out.  However what I really accomplished was leaving fresh tire marks on the floor while testing indoors and turning around while squeezing the "go" trigger..  I was immediately on the floor with alcohol wipes shortly thereafter..

Havent done much in a while.  Ive been busy with life..

But i did manage to find time to dye some white shocks blue…

Put together the Short set of blue shocks.  The white shows where i cut the parts off the sprue.  Lesson learned, cut them off first.

Also had a CVAv1 yellow set that I trued to clean and dye red.  They didnt come out as nice as the blue ones.

At this point, I think its a giant steaming pile of bologna that Big T doesn’t sell blue parts..  Grrr!

Hehe. I did exactly that with the M-08 on the kitchen floor before I tested it outside. It was way moore marks there thanthe M210R made o. The living room earlier. And nobody other than me knows:lol:

So, when you mask off, the paint is supposed to bleed everywhere yeah?

If the paint hasn't cured (less than 24hours), motor spray will remove that no issue.

For me, going to continue working on my M06 today.. goal is to finish the chassis.  B)  .. maybe even cut the body for test fit.

But of course some dummy in my house (besides me ) scuffed up our wood stained front door side glass frame so I need to fix that first.     They don't realize the decorative front door with the side glass costs more than some folk's cars.

Took a punt on these, hoping a pair will work well on my XV-01T, if not I’ll pass them on 😎

I have a feeling XV-01 is 42mm front or rear but not both, but I could be wrong.

For me, finished building the M06 chassis.  Going to cut the body today for test fit later this pm.  B)

I have to say, the M06 is super basic, yet drives so well.  I’m not even running oil dampers this time and still drives better than the MB01.  :D   The turn radius is absolutely no issue on the M06L.

My first 1:10 cockpit coming close to an end, still slowly detailing and painting. Much harder and time consuming then a lexan exterior in my opinion. Few flocked goodies will be seen through the Lancia Stratos lexan, just barely!

Not finished, but itll do all things considered. Considering I was going to bin it its not too bad. I regret not smoking the windows, and I need to paint the wing/mirrors. Also, I dont like bodylines on RCs but this shell need them. Not sure if I missed them on the decal sheet or if you do them yourself?

For me, I finished cutting the VW Bus body, shaping it, and test fitted onto my M06 last night.  Only to notice a disasterous fitment with the wheel offsets.  I mean the wheels are tucked in like 15-20mm inside the body at each corner.     To me, it looks pretty lame.. not sure how this is okay with folks who bought the Bus..  Anyway, it will never pass my pretend_RC_shop standards so going to push out at least 10mm each corner using a barrel nut and some modification on the wheel and wheel hub.  With hope.. it should work..

If not, then I am going to just go with a box art 'cute' look..  so will need to wait to see how things go with this mod before starting the painting.  Parts will not arrive until tomorrow..
