Just finished painting my CC01 Dingo driver and I'm pretty please with how he turned out. Since I got the Arnie figure as a passenger a while ago I thought the driver should be another one of his team from the Predator movie and as it happens I'd recently removed the HB2010 cowboy head... he looked like a very good match for the "Bane" character that carried the mini gun.

"Get to da choppa!"

Just need to fill in the joints on Arnie now, give him an assault vest and they're almost done.

I'm taking this to the sand dunes at Littlehampton later today to get some photos with my brothers Humvee so I'll post up done pics of that too.

Roof mounted mini gun required mate lol

:) the way I drive it wouldnt last 5 minutes! I was thinking I'd make a large bag with "Old Painless" stencilled in it to go with the stowage in the back.

Don't you just hate it when you go all the way to the beach to drive your cars and take some pics... and then some pole dancers invade your "background!"

Can the tank fire airsoft BBs at the mobile target in the background?

Today I have sorted out the parts, tools, paints and kits that I will be taking with me when I take my week off.

Have booked a week off by the coast, and to pass the time build a few Tamiya kits.

I just hope I will have enough room in the van to get it all in.

Only the list to build are an Avante, Holiday buggy, Wild one, Fav, Fav shark and a Mercedes 1850l delivery truck.

And if I get that little lot done I have a Gravel Hound body to paint, and a TXT2 body to do

Awesome day, lots and lots of family all out and together.

The XB.F and WW2 had a good outing, the S.S was tucked away after 1 battery use as the front suspension came loose.

And the Savage was absolutely fantastic until I drove into a rugby goal post..so a few jobs to do on that one now!

Today, I decided to pack my beloved Lancia for a potential spot on my shelf when I go away to school tomorrow.

It is not much to look at, tucked away in a box, but its presence there depends on whether or not said box can fit inside the vehicle. But then maybe I could potentially do away with a few textbooks :P But in all seriousness...

I am hoping it can make the trip and thus begin a new adventure in another city! Hopefully it can start looking like this again:

I finally got the F201 all setup to race again. This is a trick I picked up from a circle track racer on setting up four wheel alignment with a laser level. It works good.

I'm about ready to start on the double dare chassis with the blackfoot body project. New motors, servos, pinions, shocks, ball joints and an axial light bucket set are about all it needed right off.

Finished my trio of TA03's

null_zpsb78fdbe9.jpg

Back to front - TA03F / TA03R / TA03R-S

Going to be brave and run the TA03F and TA03R, but unless I can find a big carpeted indoor area I don't think the TA03R-S will turn a wheel to be honest!

Bodyshells are as appropriate to the chassis as I could think of -

I've never built a RC road car , or for that matter a rally car . There are so many tempting really nice body's and chassis options available now that I might give it a go . I'd love a brushless Metro 6R4 rally cross . If you know of a chassis / body combo that fits the bill let me know guys. Would have to be 4x4 obviously and as near the correct wheelbase to the body as possible.

Last 5 days being honest . Landscaped the rear garden . This involved clearing appox 4 tons of rubble and assorted crud ( a full skip load ) . Levelled the new lawn area - a big job in itself and re seeded it . badword of a lot of hard graft but I am well pleased with the results . I was quoted £700 for a local garden firm to do the work - nooooo way . Its cost me £130 to hire a skip and a few aches and pains lol. After 5 days of heavy digging and having a 300 meter barrow run to deal with to the skip its fair to say that I am knackered .

Ok, I ordered the replacement parts for my Savage, which wasn't too painful.

I booked myself in for an eye test as I can't believe I drove the Savage into the rugby post yesterday.

Packed away all my stuff from yesterday's outing and tightened up the S.S front arm which came loose and stopped play.

I have decided to get our vintage Clod running, I think I've got most of what I need in spares and my daughter is keen to use it!

Got the window decals on the awd mini (used an exacto to cut out the clear window bits after installation - no bubbles)

It's mounted on a cut and shut TL01 with M03 arms

Took two of my girls to the park with our Re Re S.S had some fun with the local pooches!

I took a good look at our Vintage Clod and realised it had motors, ESC and servo, I put and R/X and battery in it and it runs, result.

That's the problem with buying these things and sticking them on a shelf or in a corner out of the way.
