Just a tt-02 with the normal hop ups. And a sport tuned.

This evening I picked up this online private sale from a very nice gentlemen downsizing his fleet.

I bought it mainly for the M-06 chassis for the Alfa Romeo GTA body set I have on order from my LHS.   Haven't really been a big fan of the Karmann Ghia but seeing it in person, it's definitely growing on me.  The chassis definitely wasn't abused and looks like a 9.5 out of 10.  Has a few upgrades like a nicer speed control, oil shocks (not sure what brand) and bearings.   Even came with a Tx/Rx (minus a servo).  The body is in very good shape, just a front bumper repair and a scuff here and there.   Also came with a nice light set.  A second set of tires/rims were included to.   Looks like a Traxxas tire with a rather firm tire.   May have been used for drifting...???

With snow on the ground, I doubt I'll run this for a while so I'll clean it up and put in on the shelf in my office for now.

Got an unexpected early knock off from work, it’s probably a bit to humid here for spraying but I’ve taken the chance as it is to back the red & a small black area above..

That should be the fiddly masking out the way now at least.

Besides that, I'm going to be uploading my @nicherotors Willy's Wheeler reel today on instagram so please check it out if interested.  It's a fantastic car to drive.

Just to say @Willy iine that your short insta reels on that indoor track are quite something. I know nothing about video but they have character and seem beautifully put together. They look like it must've taken a lot of work to get it that precise.

(Apologies if this is the wrong place, this is about as "social media" as I get.)

Can an Instagram reel be embedded here like a YouTube video is?

Beer has arrived. The famous Japanese Asahi beer was made into Ahahi beer probably due to a lack of a license. Hopefully he will still enjoy it at the end of a working day in Shizuoka. I decided on a rather rough method of attachment, let's see how long it lasts.

Almost finished my dogfighter and this is my first time building a yokomo product and I have to say the quality is up there with Kyosho and tamiya TRF and avante range and a total pleasure to build! Is it worth the £500? I’m going to stick my neck out here and say definitely worth every penny of the price but not forgetting it’s a lot of money but apparently it’s all been re-tooled because the original tolling has long gone! I’m looking forward to running it more than anything I’ve built lately because of its engineering and its drive train feel super smooth I’m just going maybe 19t-23t brushed with 2s lipo for that extra kick and more run time:)

Thanks for checking them out!  B)    It takes me about 30-45min to record and audition the shots and another 30min or so to edit them together.  I'm not a digital contents creator kind of gifted guy so anything longer would just become a tangled mess and a chore to undo.   Sorry in advance for contaminating the internets with my non sense, but I hope you all enjoy my reels for kicks and giggles.

I'm going to try making a reel of my Kyosho Beetle next, but not sure how it's going to turn out since everything is unchartered territory for me..wish me hope..

For me, going to check out Korg's site to see if I need to download any new firmware for my Nautilus AT that is scheduled to arrive today.. besides that, going to start my MID body (white box art) for my outdoor driving.  B)    probably cut/shape today, paint tomorrow.     I still have yet to receive any info about my WC Spec MID delivery..

 Pretend RC shop

@BuggyDad it appears not - not supported by this site.

It worked for me.  I'm not on Instagram but this was the only way for me to view it.  If I go to @Willy iine Instagram site, I really can't view anything out side his home page without having to sign up for Instagram.

Yeah, my pops frequently asks how I'm doing and all, and hold him to sign up on instagram since it's free and he can see my daily updates in my Stories, but I don't think he has.   He only has like a couple more years to live so I thought it'd be fun knowing my own father was following, but I don't think he has.  He probably saw 'RC car, 1:1 car, music stuff' and said blah!  if I want to see trash, I will go to the dumpster      He and I share no hobbies.. he's a golfer and a gopher (he likes to dig holes in his farm in the burbs of Tokyo..).

I and a whole bunch of people have daily "Stories" on stuff we're working on.   For me its mostly RC stuff, some 1:1 car stuff, some music gear stuff and progress of my builds, any findings I can share along the way (like the rear axle conversion from JJ WC Ultima to Scorpion using MID dog bones and various shims, new bearing sizes), etc etc.  if any of the instagram translations make no sense you can ask me here as I only write in Japanese in my stories on purpose to reach out to my new RC buddies in Japan.

They disappear in 24 hours not to pile up contamination on the internets.

I’m not sure mate?  it’s not flexible at all and it looks and feels like a very tough resin. But good quality when you look at the box and the picture on it you could easily have the impression it’s a bit of a low quality product but it’s the total opposite!

I love how you call your stuff nonsense.

You've seen YouTube, right? 😉

Took a different style of photo (for me) today. I have some other ideas but I'm not sure how successful they'll be...

Feeler gauges. Are you setting the points gap? 😬

@_Ben_ Nice on the Tomahawk!   Did you decide not to use the black decal centers for the wheels?  I just suck at placing them on (seems they are slightly too big for the wheels) so each time I just paint mine matte black. :D

For me, received my Korg Nautilus AT today :D so unpacked it, waiting for my stand to arrive.  Meanwhile, finished cutting and masking the outdoor MID body.   I plan to paint tomorrow after visiting the office for my money making gig..  B)

I could be, but in this case, I envisioned the Rough Rider being VW powered, so we're checking valve clearances today. #3 exhaust keeps coming up tight during checks at every 3000 miles so I expect to be doing some head work shortly before she swallows a valve. Balanced the carbs with the carb sync while I was in there...

Could well be because if you scratch it the bit you scratch peels not like regular plastic but it’s super tough but Im thinking if it was used for stressed parts it would shatter like glass?
