Looks great. What sort of dampers do you use? I like the driver setup, really sturdy. :)

Thanks! The shocks are Gmade XD Diaphragm 103mm. I had them in my TT02B (rear) for a while, but firstly they were a bit too long and secondly the attachment was suboptimal. They fit really well in my CR01 fortunately.

@Twinfan - Gotta love that Lego box, colour-matched. :D

Great isn't it?  I store my tools, spare parts etc in there for when I go away for the weekend and take either my basher Lunch Box or my Mad Bull  :D

@ChrisRx718 Love how this looks! It must feel amazing! Alot of time is spent on all of the above you mentioned. We all create our own nightmare :D

The shelving you´ve chosen what I like about it there´s something about the fact that each model is in it´s own shelf / box it makes it feel special. Like each one is it´s own displayed unit.

For myself space is an issue so I have one model out, the one that´s the flavour of the day or week that i want to look at, otherwise its skyscrapers of boxes in hidden closets, walls, ... nearby galaxies..

Awesome livery @Re-Bugged. Incredible detail.

Cheer’s 🍻

Oddly enough it seemed to photograph better at night. The fresh polycarbonate in black is just like a mirror in the daylight, and with a bit of damp air settling on it helped as well.

Wheelie good day getting a job lot of tyres stuck to rims.

Carbon Reinforced for an M08, Road & Rally wheels for the Giulia.

I was going to use the adjustable offset DS Elements to run 26mm all round on a couple of TA02SW’s but I think I’m going to keep them for a HPI Mustang body instead. ‘Just’ need a chassis for that project 🤔

I have almost completed this MF01x 1/16 SCT. It's a build that's been in my head for a while, and I finally got around to making it happen as a chassis and body were free.

It runs TL01 arms to give more stability and width, all under a Traxxas short course truck body. I decided on my own livery - I may add a Nissan sticker as a nod to the 80s Nissan Baja trucks. As I have zero skill with spray painting I just did the whole thing blue, then have cut vinyl to make all the livery. The body is pretty nice, although I did have to reinforce the side wall as it was really really thin. The other 1/16 slash body (on the QD) is better built.

This uses racing truck tires, as these are the only nice 70 mm tires I can find with decent side wall. This means it is more on road and can do short grass and dirt, but I would love to find a wheel that works for off road.

As I have used the same super mini CVAs as when it had the M arms it could do with longer shocks on the front to get a little more ground clearance and better arm angles.

It should run nicely next to this one, which is the QD version:

It will be interesting to compare. The QD is 2WD has a 370 motor and is around half the weight, but exact same body, wheelbase and track width.

Finished off my Pajero today (58132) fitted some silver alloy steering kit and rear push rod setup as the original parts had bowed so much the rear was low, also got the headlight/spot light kit fitted.

Ran it a bit in the rain so it got a bit wet, I'm happy with how it's come out!.

Can't believe what I just did...

We are going to visit my folks in Italy and, upon finding out we had some extra baggage allowance, I have put not one but two RC cars in my suitcase.

In my defense, I do have a battery and transmitter over there so just the cars and some spares had to go in, but still it's feeling a bit odd to bring two along 😅

Please tell me there's nothing wrong with that 🤣

@Re-Bugged I hope that by the time I'm on the other side of the pond I will have found the right words to describe how much I like your new Alfa and your twist on the Alitalia livery... beyond stunning mate, really 💥💥👌

I had a spare frog body so I repainted it white with a burgundy stripe using Pactra  paint.

I also ordered some MCI decals for it, MCI printed the decals twice which is awesome;

@Re-Bugged another incredible masking job for the Alpha! I love the choice of color too, Cobalt Green and Black have been my go-to colors as of late :)

@Re-Bugged What a beauty! The Livery really suits this body and the black makes the cobalt really stand out IMO.

Thank you Fella’s 👍🏻

The more I saw Cobalt Green popping up the more I wanted to try it on something, and holding up different colours next to it of what I had the Black was the best option 😃

Nothing wrong with taking 2 cars with you Ferruz, well, not completely anyway 🤣 Have a great trip 👍🏻

@Ferruz Only 2? For our trip with the camper, we're with 5 "adults" so space is limited, I only brought 3 cars :D.

Maybe that's one of the reasons adults is in brackets

Thanks, bud!

Wire has arrived.

I have admired your zombie Boomerang for years, so it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the cracks in the arms of the Falcon.

Put back together the m-05, after I had to pull it apart because the motor was stuck in it from the silicone sealent, so I change the motor instead of the 3900kv brushless motor I put in a brushed 17 turns lrp motor, the brushless motor had to much torque in this car and you had to be very gently with the trigger even at half the speed, give it full throttle and you got al lot  wheelspin, and  it  was eating a lot of tires.

Put  some new tires on it,  soft M grips at the front and harder on the rear

I hope with the brushed motor and softer front tires that it reduces the amount of wheelspin.

I went to the LHS and noticed that smaller scale RCs are becoming more popular, between the Arrma Grom line-up and the "Hyper Go" stuff they're going to try to sell.

I've also noticed how many companies are taking the "build one chassis and make a dozen variations" approach, build the same "bento-box" driveshaft 4wd setup, just switch wheels/body and you get a new model. It's cheap, it works, but my engineering side isn't impressed.

I might knock Tamiya for their material choices/bushings/etc, but at least there's some variety to their line-up.

This very much mirrors the 1:1’s doesn’t it with shared platforms across brands and manufacturers.

Should of taken a before photo for the “postman brought” thread but was too keen to get out to the bench!

Unused M05 V2 Pro, getting modified down to 210mm wheelbase to give the Mini a new home.

M08 will be getting stretched to 225mm next ready for Dino shell en route!

Started on the paint for my long awaited Alpine. I only have a rough idea of how I want it to look. Case in point, I was walking outside to shoot some yellow on it when I decided at the very last minute to give it a white roof. The dark yellow looks like it somehow belongs on a 1970's vintage car

Today I finally got round to finishing off the F104. This build has been bubbling along for about nine months now and… the body didn’t go well. I painted it last month at the same time as my DB-01 and frankly didn’t pay close enough attention. This isn’t a body shell or a colour choice that forgives easily. I didn’t prep it well enough, I didn’t paint it well enough leading to green tinges everywhere, and the sticker set I got from eBay are frankly awful (thick and squishy). It’ll do as a runner and I might get the occasional chance to race it so the body wouldn’t have stayed perfect for long.

So, what brought on this new found desire to actually finish a car? The church path behind our house was resurfaced two days ago.

It won’t stay this smooth for long so I’ll be making hay whilst the sun, literally, shines tomorrow.
