My XV02 Alfa Romeo GTAm has got new wheels. The slicks are obviously for next summer or for the shelf. I think that compared to all previous rims, they fit the Alfa body best.

I only recently discovered that the original vintage Terra Scorcher had blue adjuster ends for the front and rear upper arms like the Egress, and the front upper arms of the Super Astute.

So my re-re Arnold Applewhite is now a happier chappie...

Won't take much

Dampers, carbon stays and hard chassis! Is that all?

Yep. That's about it. I am adding a couple other parts which I'll update in my build thread.

Cleaned the comm and brushes in a different type of motor.

Found a melted/burnt/crumbily brush. Now to look for a replacement....or maybe a brushless upgrade? 🤣

Thanks! The rims are Tamiya 0445925 and the caps are 0005845. I bought them as a complete set, like the 50548 set in grey/silver.

Replaced oem xv01 pulley with delrins. Lets see if those are more robust.

I will also run it without the belt cover as it always traps little stones and cause the belt to jam

Ordered a Kyosho Scorpion.

Man what an awesome car. I'm a sucker for realistic RC buggies and it cams down to either the Javelin or Scorpion. With all the metal of the scorpion I couldn't resist. It will be custom and a light runner, can't wait.

Ragged these four around West London Racing Centre.

The TD4 now has a 4.5t motor and is a missile.

TT01 - which has sat on a shelf for most of its life was hilariously good with a mild brushless setup. The XV01 was also great with a torque tuned but the poor Tamiya EsC thermalled on the 3s lipo I fed it.
