just completed my M05 Ver.2, still deciding what Motor to use...

really nice touch on the ride adjustment :-)

anti-roll is a snap on easy! low profile servo... makes it's really low!

the cable channel is enlarge for servo and esc ... makes the cables neater!

Fitted one of the GPM aluminium motormounts that arrived today ^_^ to my TA02 M-chassis conversion. The plastic mount was broken as always so this is a nice and cheap replacement. You can see why it is cheaper than a genuine Tamiya option, as one of the screws that came with is was bent and if used the motor would sit crooked on the mount with all the problems that would give (worn gears!). It was no problem though, as I was going to replace the screws with stainless hex screws anyway.

Too bad you always completely hide this hopup when it is mounted :(

Today, I established my hilariously-poor understanding of paint stripping with an awful setup to strip a beater Lancia shell (almost too embarrassing!). I think I will purchase my own supplies from here on in...

Packed these up for John Western for the Revival Tamiya event. If your in the UK make sure you go, these will be raffled, given as prizes etc. all for a great cause, preventing breast cancer.

Just unboxed and mounted up a full set of brand spankin new You-G front and rear rims and tyres. It was quite a search but worth the wait. They are bad as.

Assembled some more bits on my Frog project whilst waiting for the rear universals and shocks to come in and then spend some time continueing exchanging the original screws on my TA04 with stainless hex until i ran out of 3x10 and 3x8mm

Today I decided to spray my hand black

fortunately I did also paint a few bits of plastic lying close by :)

One day I might remember to buy some disposable rubber gloves... and actually wear them!

Technically yesterday, but This:

Bolted the leaf springs to the axles. If anyone has any quick pointers on how to determine where the hangers go on the rails (before I try my hand at figuring it out) I'm all ears.

I never use gloves when spray-painting - but then, I either spray an item on a bed of newspaper (with mixed results), or use an old wire coat-hanger, bent to fit the piece I am painting. It does keep the hands away from the paint!

I scanned a bunch of old (and some new) magazine articles. Let me just share one with you

Fitted some Super Hard Springs to the Wild Dagger which is running CC01 oil shocks. The springs are designed for a touring car, so I've had to add loads of collars to take up the shock length. We'll see how it works!

Is there a spring set available at the CC01 shock length which I could use? There must be something more suitable for the long-term.

Will test drive it later. Was getting way too much 'squat' under power.
