They look very nice David, what are they?

I stripped and sonic cleaned some oil filled shocks and then added them to my Holiday Buggy along with the carbon shock brace stiffener.

I made a small repair to our BlackFoot after a session in the park with it.

And I added a tuned pipe to my Savage X.

Having weathered the STUMPscorcher recently, I felt my other Beetle (the Fro-Sco) was looking decidedly un-rusty in comparison... it had been my first attempt at weathering (before I'd become familiar with the salt trick), and it was looking far too smooth despite the heat-gun dents and general scratches from running...

Soon fixed!

All will be revealed soon!

Finished an old Ansmann SC4 thats been here for ages.

For the money (£65ish but that was a year back) its a great kit... fully ballraced, comes with a motor, oil shocks, ball diffs etc. Seems solid.

Repaired some of the damage to my bashers. Also decided to order some goodies from CPE to convert the steering on my Clod to 'servo on the axle' type.

Finally, ordered a new pair of chrome bumpers for the Clod after yesterday's minor 'collision'. (Shhh, don't tell Percymon). ;)

Oh and won a replacement body in mint condition for the Twin Detonator as the current one is on it's last legs!

Today I went to the "Iconic RC & A1 Racing: Revival Meeting" just off the A1 at Grantham.

It was the first time I had been to a meeting like this and even though I wasn't racing anything I had a fantastic time. I met some really friendly Tamiya RC Nuts , took lots of photos which I will try and post at a later date and the weather was hot and sunny - perfect (even though I now look like a rabid strawberry )

I think a huge thank you should go to John Weston, the guys from the A1 circuit and everyone involved in organising this event :D.

May there be many more.

I stripped and cleaned my Sand Scorcher shocks ready to be refilled and put back together.

The car should then be ready for some action.

I am now starting to think about which model will be my next project.

Race preparation on the Lancia Rally, including a new wiring configuration. Still not satisfied with it, but testing will occur sometime this week. The refinished car, with re-release bumper, is now awaiting action:

I have also gotten to painting my Quattro pieces - the driver base is almost complete, but the helmet will take time:

'Race preparation'... I wonder if I should put a polycarbonate body on the O.R.V. and take it to a track, jumps and all!

Spent six hours tearing apart the old frog and rebuilding and restoring it.

She's alive! Period and original radio gear working and MSC set and adjusted.

Now to clean up the wiring today
