so broke down the ta01 ... nice to find metal gears.. ball bearuings all round..

cleaned rebuilt ball diffs and got to ....

question, what are better to use the blue shopcks or the black ones (blue are ta01 and black were ta02) untill i find some cheasp and cheerfull aftermarket ones.

Sprayed my shell for my new drift car. Turns out Pactra Paint from about 9 years ago is past it's best! Hopefully it's been rescued with loads of stickers! Now considering replacing all my old tins before I potentially ruin any more expensive bodyshells.

Built my sakura Saturday night until late am after a long day at work and multiple cups of coffee. Put the one way in backwards and had to do one or two things twice because of over tiredness But got there in the end.

Waiting on new brushless esc so temporarily have silvercan in there.

Also stole pinion out of wraith for this so converted wraith to 32 diametric pitch.

I've been slowly collecting various Hornet parts for some time in order to build one/restore an old one. It turned out that I had obtained all fresh plastic and some new metal. I bought a new body the other day so that got it's first cut and fit yesterday, and I added some wheels and tires that I've had sitting around for ages. Still work to be done, but it's getting there.

Looks great so far - the lightweight wheels suit it surprisingly well.

Hard to say which wheels will look best but I'm leaning towards the ZR-DR22s

That body is crying out for a 1/10 detail pack, wiper arm and mirrors. I think fastrax do a set as do yokomo.

I actually like those yellow wheels, looks brilliant. But if not, then dark grey/gun metal wheels would look good too.

Done some more tidying up of my TA03R-S and Porsche 911 GT-1 body, just need to source some more parts. Anti roll bars look ok in the photo but they are actually bare metal TA03F Pro items hand painted red and yellow Also need to fit the Carbon Chassis plates sitting in their packet still and find a few Black plastics that are missing

Bought another old Tamiya that I should have bought new 20 years ago. Probably over-paid for it, and it might be disappointing, but I'm still sat by the front door waiting eagerly for the postman...
