Not RC related, but this car still took a huge chunk of my time. It was quite the challenge, but I'm pleased with how it turned out so I thought I'd share the end result with the TC folks for once.

Finished my 2020 Terra Scorcher today!

Lamp buckets painted and prepared. Two mounted, rear has had 4 layers of tint painted by brush. Lower scratchbuilt slotted grill also in. Will be decent when done. Rushing for 2024!

Ok , this was yesterday . Photobucket would not upload for me :( . Always failed .

But it's working today .

New RC10 worlds body . Painted & stickers ready for racing , got some

RPM parts & changed the gearing as well .

Old used ( ok well used ) body & wing .

That looks like a nice RC10, Matman

Today I fitted a new bumper to my runner Boomerang and added the ESC (Hobbywing Quicrun 1060) and Rx (Hobbyking 3100), then blasted it around the house a little. It's quite nippy with a torque tuned motor and 80 amp LiPo. Took some paint of the skirting boards :rolleyes:

Rebuilt my slash shocks with heavier fluid, made some suspension/camber adjustments changed the gear ratio and now it's a much better truck! :)

Easiest way to break in your brand new Traxxas... let your neighbours 6yo grandkid drive it for 6000mah on 2s.... in a built up area...

Did he smash it?

Well and truly. Into cars, into trees, into kerbs, into a drain, into his sister...

At least I am not paranoid about the first scratches anymore, got that out of the way.. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Decals added to the track and LEDs to one of the cars

you need to do the others with leds mate and shoot this in semi darkness - but its brilliant . Great work on the track build

That would look awesome, like those 'city by night' shots where the car head/tail lights are just one long blurred line of light!

I sold one of my nitro Minis today to a T.C member which was all good.

I've still got 1 nitro Mini to tinker with and a few more Tamiya to sell, but I'm getting very close to the number I wanted to get down too.

Only problem being that I can't help but keep an eye out for other Tamiya models to buy 😀

Got the servo fitted and the links connected on my Kyosho NSR500 HOR motorcycle. Here's how it moves.

I need some sleep! Will update the build thread tomorrow :)

Yep ! saw them & looks like boomerang G parts only the rear & maybe two lots , But it could

be the thundershot G parts . I can't see in the pic that clear . Maybe i should come home

to NZ for X-mas & go around the hobby shops :D .. Well whats left of them !! .
