Opps sorry double post

Thats ok, you can edit it with a nice pic of said mk2 eskie ;)

Today I admired.

Got home from a 12.5hr day at work and Miss Preggie told me she wanted to show me something in the garage. She went to Mitre 10 and bought and assembled this and chucked some of my runners on it! Bless her!

Im gonna buy a few more :)

Finished some of the most challenging masking and painting of my rc career, far from perfect but the big mistakes do far are conveniently getting covered up with decals.

Finally got the motor mounted to my DF03MS, and placed it on the shelf, so far.

I can't stop

I have started adding 1 or two of these to each order to get the most out my postage costs. Do you think they will ever be worth anything built of should I keep them boxed for my son to sell on when he is my age. At them moment I am just loving the box art and odd panda drivers

Nobbi .. some will be worth a wee bit. As a collector of mini's myself I pay for mini's based of the first 100 or so Tamiya chassis .. I however am an odd one as as soon as I have a mini I make it... I open that box and build it. I throw batteries in it and I let it thrash across my living room floor. I will however pay just as much for a built chassis as a boxed one..as for me eventually they will all be built :)

So far the most I've paid is about £25 for a hornet mini .. I'd have gone higher actually...as its pretty rare. i'd guess over the next few years the classics will go up by a few pounds so Hotshot minis and such may be worth about 20 quid each. Not bad I guess compared to the £8 box price. But not a collage fund ... The unknown chassis and random named ones such as you have shown are not worth much in the after market unless the chassis and body type become famous within track racing circles and as such are only worth more over in Japan etc due to the odd lack of interest racing these amazing things in the west.

Thinking I might switch out the grill with an after market street kit one. Just for safety sake.

I met up with some T.C members for a bit of banter, trading and running.

Ran my H.B, HMR and Blackfoot.

Decided I want Super Shot and sold my Hilux Monster Racer and some spares.

So a good day all round. V.happy.

Put some black wheels with some foam tyre liners on my brushless Mad Bull. Gonna get some black wheel nuts, a better servo, a servo saver and fix the steering arm to work better next. It's never gonna be a precision item though :D

EDIT : Sorry for the crappy photo, it's really out of focus!
