This morning I worked in the lab for about 5 hours then my son "Gabriel" came to visit he is almost 2 and is finally not afraid of RC's I had him controlling the steering while I handled the gas. What a blast coolest little guy ever. And Now I'm bummed he had to go back to his mothers. Usually takes me 2 or 3 hours to get over him leaving, Then back to the Lab.

So what are you all getting into today?

Today I brought 2 NIB's I got a Sabaru Brat and a Wild Willy's .

I also did some more on my 1/14 Truck Trailer I built the motorized legs.

Pulled apart my favourite runner and gave her a good clean and grease ready for a run tomorrow .

Cant wait to get my 2 NIB's have not decided what colours to do the brat in thou it comes with 2 shells so I will choose to totally different colours

Brings my grand total of NIB's for the month to 9 not too bad but the wifey put the brakes on today said no more for a month or two but I have done really well to get that many in a month and she is a good wifey

Dragged the 2nd RC my dad bought me out of storage and gave it a clean, grease and check over. Radio Shack Flexmobile, then noticed on the back tray in big letters NIKKO... LOL.

Tried cycling the old Radio Shack "C" cells for a run but they are completely dead. Then my kids spotted it for the first time. My 6yr old picked it up and dropped it straight on it's nose onto the concrete. I almost cried, 24yr old plastic shattered everywhere. I glued what I could back together but it'll never be a perfect vintage anymore. Will get some pics of this into my showroom when I get some time.

Assembled a few more bits onto that junk Thunder Tiger nitro truck only to discover my neighbour missed the magazine issue with the shock rubbers. Tamiya ones will have to do. I stripped down the engine that he'd already assembled and found some nasty damage, it looks like he fitted the piston with a hammer. Big chunk of metal missing from the big end of the conrod and from one of the transfer ports. The bore was not seated properly before he tightened down the heatsink and the locating pin is damaged. Every screw (except the heatsink) was finger tight. IF it runs it will be a pain to keep tuned and down on power. Scary is this guy works on his own 1:1 cars.

I got me bowler from the sorting office, fitted two toilets,tiled a shower,came home and had more fun than ive had i years.i`ve sorted the body mounts on a brat,fitted my bowler shell.gave it a good sanding,then primed it ready for another go with halfords best tomorrow

I woke up took the lad to school , come home posted all the ebay swag i sold last night . then totally rebuilt my orginal metaltop wide thrashed it round the garden for a few packs then chilled for a bit. and now just got back in from painting my scale chainsaw i built moons ago . then i started on a tc members totally scrap scorcher body .

Oooh scary, I went on a buying binge... Several years ago I gave away all my airsoft guns to my nephew, now I am looking at them again. So today I went and bought a MP5 SD3 by Classicarmy, which is a local Hong Kong company that uses full metal body just like the real thing. If any of you are also interest in airsoft guns here is the site www.classicarmy.com. Also bought extra clips and batteries which the total wasn't cheap.

Then when to the local die caste store and picked up couple of fire trucks by Schuco, a martini mobydick porsche by Looksmart and a martini Lancia 037 by HPI.

My wallet is empty , plus I have to bring my purchases to work so the wife won't see them...

My plans are to buy more airsoft guns and use them as wall art.

Tried rebuilding the suspension on my Hornet, but I'm missing a few parts, so gave up on that and bit the bullet. Spent ages, but I've finally built my NIB Egress!

The shell is a clear smoky black, standard motor for now, but once I get some track it'll have a Plasma Dash, full bearings and rollers.

after spending half the day fixing bikes,i have given up on the idea of an orange bowler with black bits, so ive sprayed the thing completely volkwagen diamond black with a view to having it black with orange bits

Had a busy weekend on the RC front - did a lot of tidying up, relocated a table-full of unused parts to the big RC area in the loft, and sorted out some of my current projects.

Stripped and cleaned the TA01 Jeep, fitted Manta Ray shock towers and TLT shocks along with black gearbox conversion. Got the rear body mount fitted but the front will require some customising and redrilling - tried to glue some stuff together but I've got no araldite, and the modelling glue I was using wouldn't stick. Will have to drill some things but my drill batteries are dead and the charger has stopped working, so now I need another new cordless drill

Tried to finish my clod crawler but again I'm stuck without a drill! :(

Was going to look at a few more bits on the F150 street truck but didn't have time.

Got far too many current projects on the go - don't think there's any chance I'll have the crawler ready for the nats next weekend, although I plan to be in the area anyway, so might stop by to spectate if it's all going ahead as planned

Well, over the weekend and tonight really. Fitted the front body posts, so they come thru the 2 suspension bulges on the bonnet of my Kamtec Bowler, so they look a bit like bonnet pins . Fitted the rear spoiler using M2 screws bolts and washers , then fitted the rear body posts discretely as I could under the rear wing . Cut out some front & side windows from some old 5 1/4" floppy disc holder lids, so they look a bit like tinted windows . These are just blu-tacked in place for photos at present. Next on the list........maybe some mudflaps front & rear , and some sort of cover to protect most of the leccy bits from grit, gravel and the like !!

Today I got in the post my Tamiya Subaru Brat and Wild willy 2

Then after saying no more kits for a while I found myself on ebay the sarvo buying a Tamiya BMW Z4 M Coupe Racing TT01 w/LED Lights and a Tamiya 1/10 alfa romeo giulia sprint

I dont know what happened it was scary in a good way I wanted the Alfa and to save on shipping I ended up buying the BMW as well I have not counted all the NiB's I have brought this month and every time one arrives I whisk it away so the Wifey does not see it(running out of room to put the NiB's) even thou the money comes out of our combined accounts and she is in the know as to how much I spend ....But I guess its a guilty complex or something .

Is there a Tamiya anonymous ? I think I need to go
