Decided to finish the body of the Wild one, couldn't decide on black or gunmetal so I used both here's a picture, eventually it will make it into the show room with my signature pic Wild one in the wild.

Today i searched the Internet for cars i don´t want because i can`t afford it and do not have the time to build and paint them.

I found an Avante 2011 on a local "craigslist" for € 250,- and the description says that a 2nd Avante 2011 is included for parts...

...in that offer is no Picture and the seller says if i would have questions, i have to call him.

So now i am in a unconfortable position, so should i get the cars?

again!! Didn't we have this discussion last year?

Haha yeah, we spoke about it earlier this year, they're still cheap, and its almost Xmas.

Any other excuses I can give the wife? :)

Today i tried to contact the guy whos selling his 2 models, i found out that he`s not selling 2 re-re Avante 2011s....

....but he`s selling 2 Avante 2001s, and that model, i`m not interrested in...

Finished installing the FX-10 kit onto the Lunchbox, replaced the roll bar and driveshafts on the SRB and fitted radio gear into the Escort.

Started restoring my Hornet as I have enough spares to make a complete one. Ordered a slew of parts today on the bay. Finally, I'll have the trifecta: Frog, Grasshopper and Hornet :)

Fantastic work. I might make a replica of this using the hornet as a base. Not for the competition but it looks so amazing I want one too. If tamiya see this they should actually make it.

I did this recently too. It was great fun buying second hand parts and job lots to bring an old hornet chassis I got given back to life. It only had the gearbox, 3 wheels and a really rough shell. Oh and a driver. Piecing it all together and bringing something back from such a state is really satisfying. I built it for my brother so when he comes around he can race it against my hornet.

Congrats getting the trifecta. Nice! :)

Good stuff Terz. I didn't start off with a Hornet but had enough spares to piece one together. It'll be about 1/3 vintage parts and 2/3 re-re. Bought enough parts this week to have a rolling chassis. Still need to buy a steering servo, ESC, motor and body.
