Lovely ! And on the other side of the equator, it's 39c out there today and 40c plus forecast for the next few days. We generally have these temps on the Aussie West Coast right into March.

It's so hot in my man-cave that the adhesive on the back of the velcro (hook & loop) tape has actually come unstuck from my Tamiya car bodies....... I'm not kidding.

Yer !! It's darn hot all right & i'm working in it & i'm in roof's as well :( ...

They look great on the BMW. What wheels and tires are these?

Thank you. They are made by Carson and were ordered from here ^_^

Made some good progress on my F103GT Nissan GTR LM Nismo Launch Edition kit. I deviated from the body set instructions in several ways:

- Cut out the front grill to be replaced with a 3D printed grill.

- Cut out the top front vents by the body posts.

- Cut out the tops of the fenders per the real car.

- Cut out the silver exhaust ports and added exhaust pipes made from styrene tubing.

- Trimmed the side wings and eliminated almost all of the extra clear material; there's just a single mounting tab on each one so the overall look is more realistic.

- Cut out the rear of the body to be replaced with 3D printed aero ductwork.

I expect to do the design work and 3D print the front and rear parts soon.

Today I added my 19t steel pinion to my sport tuned gt motor, front /rear carbon fiber shock towers to my Aqroshot. The pinion added significant top speed to the truck. Only hop ups I have yet to add are the turnbuckle set and stabilizer. I also purchased a super stock bz motor but have yet to try it. Should I be concerned since it is 23 turns and the esc says no lower than 25 turns?

A teaser whilst I'm uploading my build thread

That looks fantastic. Total out of the box thinking from Tamiya coupled with a vision from the builder.

Don't be concerned, just use a 17t steel pinion and don't run on grass for testing. Check motor temps every so often and if the esc thermal cuts off, give it a break for 10 minutes. If it cuts off all the time then go back to your GT Tuned with either pinion or get yourself a Hobbywing 1060

I ordered the 17t steel pinion last week, I originally ordered a non module one. Thanks for the advice

Was hoping to make a start on the bruiser today but as I got the last few bit I need to start it yesterday from my lhs just need the tx know. But↩

1.1car related.

Noticed the rear heated screen wasn't working a couple of weeks back so this morning the sun was out so I took a look at the

Loom in the gromet between the boot and the roof and lo and behold the wires had shaped and also noticed the washer tube had a hole in it also so off to the car spares to get a length of tube and a conector and some bullet connectors.

Taking a closer look at it when I was repairing it. They seem to have been chopped and it because the loom isn't long enough.

So 3 bosted up fingers later I hopefully have it fixed.

Just what u need to be doing on a Sunday morning ........... Not

My wife and I are going away in 2 months to the Gold Coast Casino for 3 nights.

So my wife likes the pokies and I'm bored stupid so when she is playing like could be hrs if she is winning I stay in the room and build a r/c car. Normally something cheap. My last build was a Grass Hopper Black. Problem was I finished it in no time and got a little bored.

So this time ( this is our once or twice a yr mini break together with no kids which is well overdue) I'm going to build a 4wd. So there is only one Tamiya 4wd I want that I don't have and that is the Egress . Hence a big purchase . So it will be a runner and look forward in comparing it to my well sorted Avante. The only real big difference to me is the Egress is LWB. :)
