Also decalled a Honda Civic shell, but no photos of that as the glue hasn't set on the light buckets yet.

Progressed my Kuma Tractor build

> Fitted CVA shocks

> Robbed an unfinished CR-01 chassis of its Hobbywing ESC and radio Rx - added those to the Kuma

> Added the missing hex pins on the front hubs (joys of buying someone elses half built kit !)

So bar fitting the wheels and some form of driver figure (not Kumamon !) its job done :D

Here is one I finished today. Not much to look at compared to Truck Norris's Impreza, but I like it:

And with an older relative:

And topless:

Not all that different considering they are separated by the best part of 20 years...

Take one plain looking Silvia S13 and go a bit mad with some leftover stickers. Also fitted the ridiculously big rear wing which asiatees sent me in error.

Yes it has touring car sized rims, just adds to the ridiculous look!!

The gell pen arrived,so much better than a tyre lettering pen!

So that's the tyres painted,so much of an improvement.

Where did you get the gel pen from wooders? I did my tryes with a tyre lettering pen and the nib was just too big. I ended up pressing the nib of the tyre pen over and over to create a small pool on some card which I could dip a fine brush into. Not ideal! Lol.

Have you got the name of the pen or even better a link? :)

Thanks wooders for the link. Saved and will be odered :) , thanks truck too, seems like you use the same pens. I think doing the tyre lettering really sets them off. Looking forward to how that beetle shell turns out too.

Sakura Gelly Roll White is what I use, works a treat.

Glad I got the same one,it's your blitzer beetle that set the ball rolling (pardon the pun!)

Can't grumble too much at £3, it's not even worth sending you mine.

Still to decide a colour scheme, may just black the windows out and leave it white?

Mine's 37819 medium, but fine would probably be better.

Having had a look around the net it seems that the white doesn't come in the fine size.
