it seems just when a person(myself included) makes up their mind they might not get that car this part or that part belongs to, it happens

How true that is.... I had all but given up on the fact that I would get an original TF and wound up scoring a nice original chassis (can tell by the gold screws) AND just got in a rere slider to help me finish off the original one.

This is the rere that just came in the mail today.... along with the wheels and aluminum motor mount.

am thinking I will use the rere chassis to put back onto kit # 58099 as trying to find a new gray chassis to be impossible............ but there it goes again ;)

oh and as for me, got my donor TL01 back together and ready for Ebay, looks pretty nice with the gold wheels i got with my M01

Just finished trimming the Pajero body.

Its the first time I have done anything like this and I tried a few different ways to cut it out.

Now I have done one the next one will be easier.

Weather is crummy up here in the Pacific Northwest, so I can't get the Hotty out to test.

Nothing big last night, I'm picking at my Hotshot while I wait for the D Screw Bag (Battery Post) to be delivered. Replaced several of the exterior brass screws that were rusted out or had their finish rubbed off. Me no likey having silver or black screws on vintage rides. So I had some leftover never used/vintage 3x12 and 8's screws which really made it pop.

Looks like my MFA Technigold will ship on Friday, decal for it en route for the motor :)

Then it's on to procuring a Bigwig

Picked up a part built Blackfoot III which looks completely un-used for a fair price. Not the cheapest I have found one but I'm happy enough.

Needs a bit of re building as not done properly in a couple of places and the body finishing.

This is going to be a runner so time to mod.

Yer mate sorry about that, we would have been bidding to the bitter end on this one as I was the other early bidder but I managed to agree a cash price. Not cheap but it was what I would have been prepared to pay as the auction to win it.

I am currently stripping it down completely and it was definitely never run . It means I don't have to crack open my NIB one I found in my local hobby shop the other month.

It is missing one of the light fronts for the roll bar mounted lights but that is it so I need to order a spree unless anyone has a spare. For some reason it is (was) fitted with 4 x Absima short 55mm shocks (again new) which meant that it was set at a negative ride height. Those shocks are dire though, hardly work and only 3/4 full of oil and air.

Decided to start integrating a Tamiya figure into my Twin Hammers interior set.

This is where I am at after today.

A lot of super glue and filling with plastic and grinding with Dremel tool.

Honestly you saved me from myself so thanks for that lol... the Bodyshell just looks so cool I need to add the Blackfoot silhouette to my collection but not just yet :)

I wouldn't have bid high anyway, was only testing the water as it was a local collection I thought that would narrow the buyers down immensely so there might be a bargain to be had :)

So the Absima shocks strike again... arrrggghhhhh!

Yep, will re build and re fill at some point to see if it improves them but I have no use for them as my mini shocks are all CVA.

Met a local buyer and off loaded a CC01 roller to him that I've no time to complete.

Then took my new FAV out for its maiden run on the new 3100kv brushless motor and 2s lipo.... boy what a little screamer she is... wheelies on command and brutal speed! I was not expecting these results even with the 18t pinion.

I dismantled an M01 project that has been here a little while, not quite as long as other projects, but since I seem to be on a tear about the M chassis right now, figured it was the right time. Yep, you guessed it, CRACKED parts are found in a few key areas GRRRRRRRRR. Oh and ORANGE????? Grease on the gears???

Just got started with my next Project.... it has 6 wheels... and comes in Black!

Took 12 hours just to print one rim and it's PETG - very Tough! some say they are unbreakable!

Thanks for the offer, I'll get it sorted soon though. I'm not in a rush to rebuild them - I only need two of them in the near future.

I'm getting more and more frustrated with missing / wrong parts in my second hand purchases! Each time I move forward, I take a step back!

for the first time in a long time - exchanged the blue sleeved dampers on my Top Force with original hicaps - bring it closer to the original state with original hopes only. Now i need to find the steel or carbon shaft...

My USA source for the MFA 700 motor has fallen through :(

EDIT: So instead I bought an original Technigold :) It's used but looks to be in really great shape and a nice price also

Yeah Mate, I'm very tempted to offer him a $50....

I've been wanting a Hot Shot.  I would need some help with parts on this one I guess, there will be quite a bit damaged or missing,
