This week I've done a rebuild of my Buggy Champ to clean out the beach sand it got on holiday and fitted my M01 Mini with a hop-up undertray.

I've never driven on sand before and while I expected it to get everywhere it still ecxeeded my expectations. loads of fun, though.

Took my Super Clod out for a spin and noticed that one of the sports motor wasn't running as fast as the other.

So the car is pulling it self...

Now I need a new sport tuned 540!

I got the chance to buy my second Black Porsche Japanese Version from Challenger-RT.

I finished the alloy rear bumper and inox suspension mounts of my Scorcher so that I can concentrate on finishing the bodyworks now.

It is going to become a mix between classic 60ies beetle bug and agressive Baja dune bug... (what a challenge)

I found a set of 3 M01 chassis with alloay ho ups in ebay for 99EUR.

I ordered 2 micro power supply control units with integrated lipo guard (originally for planes and helis) which i will add to the self made heated winter gloves. They are a vital piece of equipment for my wife. She would have to stop skiing without them....

And I finally ordered the missing materials to insulate our roof top (so I can stor all the **** from the basement under the roof and get more space in my hobby room....)

Laminated, cut out, shaped and sanded the rear wing for my project "FUN BUG". Now scribbling down parts list for exaust and front/rear bumpers from DIY store.

Happy days.

Had a trip over to our storage unit & grabbed a couple of random boxes of spares.

From those boxes I managed to cobble together 90% of a Manta Ray, it's fairly scruffy & the gearboxes are red.

Got a set of yellow shocks I removed from my red Top Force.

Need to find some wheels & tyres, steering linkages & a couple of odds & sods.

Got a half painted shell, but no wing or decals, anyone got either of those going begging ?

Bought a second hand King Blackfoot from the 'bay (roller / non runner), and put the gearbox on my poor old Monster Beetle.

Awaiting a 15 turn motor to slot in there.

Might need a wheelie bar.. what dyou reckon

Had a weekend of breakages:

Fighter Bull kept landing on its back on jumps - broken rear body mount and shell smashed to bits

MB head on collision with my mates Mad Bull - Broken servo horn

Failed MTroniks ESC on Falcon Beetle.

Split lexan shell on Frog Beetle

Should keep me busy during this week

I've already swapped out the front end from the MB with the King Blackfoots front end (I think the original track is slightly narrower on the MB). This means that now the only bits that are original on it are the chassis, the shell and tyres. Everything else has been replaced

I've repainted the MBs shell in a blue and yellow scorcher style - awaiting number decals from Autographics.

Keeping with the ORV theme, I painted my Ramblin Ron which turned up today and I made a start doing this:

Bought a BMW M3 GT body shell with paints, decals and some shiny new wheels with tyres.

Ordered a load of hop up parts for my TT-01 and bought a new battery charger. All in all, quite an expensive day, so far!

I stuck my 17x2 GT3 in my lunchbox running the TEU101BK, two packs later and no troubles, not as peppy from a dig as a silvercan but it winds out! Motor does get warm though, probably because its a low torque high rev motor.

I've finished the paintwork and put the decals on my new BMW M3 GT body shell today. Also fitted my new wheels.

Until I can afford another new chassis I can swap the bodies and wheels between the BMW and the Impreza.

Me I browsed the Futaba and Spektrum sites all day and read reviews and watched videos on YouTube.

Came home then wrote on the forum here as still not sure which way to go (Stick 2.4 or Wheel 2.4).

Looked at my Hotshot and can't wait to put it on the track on saturday.

Looked at my Dark Impact and thought, I need some radio gear quick.

Looked at my Avante Mk II and thought, "when am I going to build this".

Looked at my Monster Beetle and thought "when am I going to put it all back together?"

Didn't bother taking the Samurai out of the bag, as he's resting for now

Looked on the bay to see what's on offer, then back to Club.com to look at some vintage stuff.

I drank beer and charged all the 2/3 cell battery packs for my Tamtechs. Gave my TT Frog some street running, loosened the diff, tightened the diff, drank more beer, changed batteries, called it a day.
