I'm betting on the Kamtec Kyosho Nostalgic...exact wheelbase unknown but appears to fit the touring class....

However, I didn't think it came with a windscreen or lights....

The TBG body includes 'most' of a driver.

Hoping Kamtec produce a GT version someday.

Spot on matey, tis indeed Kamtec's Kyosho body. As soon as I saw it I had to have it, I do like a fun shell on my race cars so this fits the bill perfectly I think. Originally Kamtec didn't make the windscreen but now it comes with the shell. The lights are actually modified Blitzer Beetle items, had to trim the inside edges slightly but they fit great now. It did come with the lower driver section moulded in, the head isn't included but Willy's fits just right.

It's all painted now, went slighter lighter than British racing green :D

I like those headlight shells, great idea! Let's see it painted up!

Any progress on those Mini shells you snagged a while back?

Willy has got himself a new ride! Cut my TT01 race car's new body out. Not sure on the colour yet, I'm thinking either bright red or British racing green.

Yeah that's awesome bodging of the highest order, let's see it finished!

Where did you get that silver roll bar?

I've just found that Kamtec shell on Ebay and then also found the TBG version too ( posts from Canada)  but the much cheaper option in the UK is Kamtec and seeing how you've added parts to yours.. genius. On the shopping list it goes ;)

I joined another rc club today, who knew there were more around. Its much closer and has an outdoor offroad 8th and 10th scale (one track designed for both) track. They are still trying to get the track established so no race meetsat the moment, but I have 24hr access to a track thats about 20min away instead of 50min. I will have a hope of getting some mates along to this one too and hopefully can convince them to join

I painted a few more details on my VW bus wheelie. I chose to hand paint the details over suffering with the decals since I don't appreciate having to cut them out. All those windows = forget about it!  -lol

I'm also going to order some shocks for my CW01 wheelies.

The Miglia shell is my regular race car body, I can't remember if I posted a pic so I'll take some when the MG is finished and do a 1960's race car photoshoot!  The Mini countryman, Montech and Monster Mini have all been cut and are just awaiting a decision on colour.

It's actually an exhaust clamp, had the perfect size loop and came with bolts so it made fitting it quite easy.

Not today but Tuesday I decide since my Clod buster wasn't selling, I figured I'd split it so I listed the chassis for a decent price the tires and wheels etc and the body.. in the time it took for me to put the leash on the dog I had an offer on the chassis, sold and now shipped. Word to the wise Florida to California is not $25. My mistake before discount it was  $42. With discount 32.95. Personal note check before you late night list. Body and tires are impatiently waiting for a new home. Lol.

Finished the MG TT01 ready for tomorrows day of racing, will also be running the Mini too. Alfa is there because it looks great having a 1960's theme! I nearly cleaned the Mini shell before taking the pics but I like the battle scars from it's last race! The Alfa is sitting on a TL01 that will have silly brushless power after this evening, should be out testing on the track inbetween races tomorrow.

Finishing up my original Vintage Nissan R91CP #58109 (not the re-release).  This car in particular was a challenge for several reasons...finding a Nissan R91CP original chassis with a original body kit isn't easy in the US.  I came across a original roller on ebay with a Tamiya 53106 RD Aluminum Finned Motor Mount Heat-sink already installed.  I performed a complete disassembly to clean and inspect before putting back into roller form.  The foam tires and wheels were worn out very badly from the previous original owner.   No rear wing stay mount, motor or electronics came with the car so sourcing those replacement parts took some time.  The body kit is a original Tamiya brown box from a long time Tamiya modeler he had stashed away which included a NIP set of black wheels, foam tires, driver cockpit and original Nissan R91CP decal sheet which includes the Good Year licensed decals for the side, front fenders, rear spoiler and foam tires.   I thought of doing a build thread but got side tracked trying to get to this point of the project.

I decided on the P-30 brilliant blue "Calsonic livery" over the P-4 darker blue per the instruction manual.  Both P-30 / P-4 blues look great on the R91CP.  I still have to install the motor, electronics and complete the rare factory group c driver cockpit.  By accident I installed the incorrect rear wing stay (this one is for the Mazda 787B).

So technically this would be a partial unveiling of what I like to think is one of the top elite group c models (next to the Mazda 787B) produced by the Tamiya Factory.

Today I won an auction for a built but not run RC10 Team Car :)

Just got to wait for it to arrive from France in the coming days.

In the meantime I need to decide what electrics to put in it. It will be run, but looked after. It may even get raced at some point.

Have a spare TBLE-02S so I might go for a mild-ish brushless setup. Need to decide on a steering servo too.
