I may of accidentally ordered a new Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle Sharkmouth from Tamico! I've had my eye on them for ages and just couldn't help myself haha!

After a really bad few weeks I took a little time and painted the Bigfoot body for my stampede.  I know it isn't Tamiya,  but it is a pretty cool body with hard plastic chrome grill,  bumpers and roll bars,  so kind of Tamiya like.   I just need to decide if I want to go full Bigfoot or keep it as a regular Ford truck.

I wanted Lady Glitter Sparkles from Trolls, instead I had to settle for her in pre makeover guise as plain old Bridgette!!

My TA07 works! Soldered up both ESC and motors today  (by which I mean took them to a mates house so he could do it since he does a far better job than I could hope to) and so far just have the TA07 running. I need to test the motors to make sure they are both 21.5T then will get the F1 going too, hopefully tomorrow

Decided after a bit of time away from anything RC related (not sure if it was my build of the cat XLS of just my love of RC waining:unsure:) to start building my RC10 it's been sitting in the bottom of the wardrobe for quite along time and it was going to be a winter build a few years ago! But a quiet (and slightly hungover) Sunday and I've eventually got around to starting it:rolleyes:, I was so impressed with the absima thrust brushless set in my top force I decided to get another one for the RC10!

Rebuilt my optima re re shocks for the 3rd time, used new o rings and tried asssociated green slime. I am at my wits end with 3 of them leaking. After my last rebuild using a heavier 22.5 oil and green slime it only slowed the leaking down. I also noticed after running the optima yesterday they leaked more while sitting on the stand

Got my neo fighter painted.

I agree and to boot when or how often they leak there is no rhyme or reason. I redid them the last time 3 weeks ago two were basically filled completely, one was 1/2 full and the other was 1/4 empty. Then after driving it yesterday the two front leaked alot when i put it back on the stand. So that is why i decided to rebuild again. I was wondering if i use 2 gasket seals if that will do anything. That is my last option i thought of, because i refuse to buy another set of thesse shocks since so many complain about the same issue.

The one that leaks stops leaking when all four wheels are off the ground I've changed the seals to one's i found in my tool box I think they are from a mugen pan car (not totally sure though?) Anyway it still leaks not as bad but it's still there! I'm a fair weather user (I don't do cold) so I'm going to put thicker oil in and see what the outcome is when the better weather returns next year!

That was another thing buy 25 weight to try. I have 30,35,40 and 50 but i read even 22.5 may be to heavy for these shocks. So ridiculous, maybe kyosho will release their gold or platinum shocks.

They probably will release other shocks but kyosho's spare and hop-ups are stupidly expensive so I'd sooner figure out how I can make these work (I'm looking and thinking<_<)

Yea i thought tamiya were overpriced lol, the only kyosho hop up i bought were the universals. If you figure anything out let me know, during the winter i am going to leave them empty otherwise

Painted my touring car shell today, ran out of paint.

I may have missed it but what shell are you using on your TA-07?  I'm assuming that's what this shell is destined for.

Yes thats right.  Its just a racing touring car shell so not a particular car rather it has 4 doors and meets IFMAR/ROAR rules. The bonus is they are really cheap.  Its the Protoform R9-R.  Heres a couple of pics, I should really have checked that it was on the car and wiped it down before taking them but I was sort of in a rush.  If you hold it up to the light its pretty obvious it has 2 patchy coats of blue on it.

Cut out the protoform mustang body and started fitting on my Exotek evo6.

I need to figure out a paint color,  anyone have any suggestions?   I would love to do it dark green like the bullet mustang.  I know,  not original,  but I do like it.   Problem with a dark color is we race on black carpet and I'm afraid the dark green will disappear.

Thought the Hertz rent-a-racer cars were red ?

How about the classic blue with 2 white stripes as per the Shelby Mustangs ?

If racing visibility on dark carpet is an issue, how about light blue with orange stripes? I don't know if any Mustangs ever raced in those colours, but it is an authentic Ford livery, having been used on the Gulf GT40s of old.

Fitted the electronics to my TRF102 which went in surprisingly well. The Speed Passion gear is certainly a lot less temperamental than my Trackstar stuff. Put it down to test and it is too low, the rear scrapes on my lounge carpet, still tried to drive it tho...I will swap the spacers tomorrow to raise it. The wheels are F103 which I think are smaller than F104 which is the problem.

White with two navy stripes down the middle ?

Strictly yesterday, but progressed a few of my SRB builds. Iprobably spent as long swapping parts between builds, to make best use of what I have, than actually making a significant step forward lol!

Which led to the inevitable ordering of parts :(
