Continued some work on my crawler/trail area around my little track.  Planted a few more juniper shrubs and moved some rocks around.

I'm becoming obsessed with working on it.   It feels good to be outside doing something after a long winter.

Joe,

Love the track! Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Where do the battery go? Looks like the receiver is where I would expect it to fit.

That is correct! The guy made some weird choices when putting in the electronics.... check out where the esc is hanging out.

So ... just finished this. Mixed up the paint scheme a bit and didn't use all the decals. Pretty happy with how it came out.

Looks awesome.    There's a Tamiya Golf Group 2 original on Ebay for $800 buy it now, I really had to hold myself back from purchasing it.

Just bought an Avante 2001 with brushless combo, which is perfect since this will be my runner Avante 2001. The car will need some TLC to get the correct avante 2001 look.  Hope to get it in a couple of days.

I've been looking trust me!  All I can find on Ebay for scale stickers:  "Yeti"  "Get R Done"  "Miller"  Guns, Zombie Apocalypse, the things you see on the of lifted trucks.  I'd die for some 1/10 volcom, ripcurl, stickers.

i dig, i was shocked out big it was when i pulled it from the package - it's 11" long and in 1:1 it would be a 9 ft longboard.  I need to find a shortboard now.

If you have some stickers you know you want; scan them and send thrm to Nathan at MCI to scale. Will take a while but you'll get what you want.

I've fitted newly arrived bearings to the front wheels of my newly built Monster Beetle.

Also fitted a 1mm thick shim on the inside of each front wheel to eliminate the wheel slop on the axles.

I'll shim my vintage Blackfoot in the same way when I get chance.
