I did one half of OldFrogShot's Screw Mod. Using my bench drill I opened one Frog joint cup out to 2.5mm whilst holding it in a machine vice. Very satisfying to do.

Now I await my 2.5mm taps to come in the post so I can tap out the other joint cup, then I can have a super strong diff. and can put any motor I want into my Froggy (within reason).

I'll have to find out next which Loctite to use on the 2.5mm screw that you put into the tapped joint cup.

So what have you done today?

Finally bought some new alloy shocks for my beater TA03. I'm using old Tamiya springs on the new shocks. Shocks are not fully adjustible but they are similar to the alloy ones from Tamiya using static spring collar inserts. These shock use captured ball end links.

A reciever turned up for my Sanwa transmitter, unfortunately I didn't realise that the blue and the black ones have opposite terminals (I did realise however that black one is the backwards one, guess how?), Hence the blue one.

So got my M04L going again and stuck a Dyna Run Touring motor in it (13 double) running of a teu101bk (that's right).

Even with slicks it gets tail happy and can bake the rears at low speeds haha.

I think a 13t is a bit much for a m04, (and a teuLOLbk) but boy is it addictive :P

Sold my motorbike; a 2002 Honda Hornet CB600F.

With some of the money I bought a Fuji Finepix 2500HD, and ordered a 4x4 Traxxas Slash!

Look forward to posting pics of one taken by the other :)

i picked up my new futaba 2pl in 2.4ghz. i haven't tried it out yet.

i learned how fast a m03 with a 9t ezrun can burn through a set of front tires, 3 3000mah 2s lipo is all it took lol.

Horrendous understeer FTW!

I've still not started the paint job on my SS. Weather has been too nice so I've been out in my new Convertible, hooning around the countryside.

Need to get myself a matching M-04 though...

it's nothing compared to my dt02, worst steering ever!

2 nights ago my neighbors watched me run my m03, last night they wanted me to go to the hobby shop with them.

one walked out with a stampede vxl, the other a rustler vxl. they guy who bought the pede wants to get a tamiya kit so he can build it up, but bought the traxxas now so they could just run them asap.

we had a good time last nite. a little too much beer though! lol

neither the rustler or the pede could keep up with my dt02 that i put the ez run in.

Did some calculations for my Range Rover project. The body mounts and bumper/ nudge bar is also on the cards. Been talking to DANNO85 about the same type of project and has got a good few pointers from him. Thanks D, hope your mechanics arrived to help with the Nippy.

Henk

fitted replacement main gears to the bush devil, swappen pinion over to the tuned motor and took it for a spin.

Excellent turn of speed, however the pinion grub screw wasnt as tight as could be and kept spinning on the motor, so new pinion needed!

:D This is a what I'm I gonna do today!!! Just had clients by a M1025 Hummer and a CC Wrangler from our store. And low and behold I get to build them. I'll have to do it over the weekend as I'm going on a course next week for 4 days so at least I'll be keeping myself very busy.

Can't wait to get started on them.

Henk :)

Still prefer the NA body though :P

What colour scheme are you doing with this? a dupe of a 1:1? :)

I'm thinking about doing a dual tone of gold or copper body with black or white racing stripes. :D

i met up with a guy from rcuniverse, he gave me a big ammo crate full of rc parts.

there's almost a complete clodbuster in the box, most of a black foot, all the suspension parts to a rc10 and some unknown suspension parts (maybe traxxas or kyosho).

i also got a call from a friend who has tons of tamiya and associated cars and parts, he said i can have my pick.

it's my lucky day.

well i went to vist my friend who said he had alot of stuff. he did have alot, just not too much that i wanted.

i scored a ff02 with a nice focus body, a b4 buggy set up for eastern mod dirt oval and a traxxas spirit.
