I have worked on my CAD of the Doomerang to include a front bumper. This will be functionally useless as a bumper as it ticks every single box for what a bumper shouldn't be but it looks rather swish I think

Finished my latest crawler build, a ISUZU body on a MST CMX. The car was sold in germany as Opel Frontera.

 

90s german police livery. Lights, light bar and horn in working order.

The Hilux driver got painted like a 90s german police officer.

Ordered a Hornet kit.

I didn't plan to order a Hornet kit. I saw a post on FB advertising one for £95, with the ESC, and thought it was a good price.

I did intend to get a Hornet at some point, my first Tamiya was a Hornet, so I can tick that box now.

Well finally got it finished and all put together! Got it running and just took it out in the road for a quick spin about! Tell you what these brushed motors still fly. It has a 19 turn that I used to run. It’s no slouch

Gave Ultra G a quick spin in the (thankfully completely empty) park with its new lid on. 

Don't know whether it's Emperors New Clothes, but it doesn't half shift! I guess saving 200grams off the shell will do that. Really wish the stickers were proper flouro. love this buggy though.

Only gently. no racing me on the Tennis courts when this is all over, keep the Lunchie for that. By the way hows the Stadium Thunder?

well I put my wild one back in the display case after a good clean and some new paint! Its been years since I did anything to this car and it finally looks ok now haha

Sounds like a plan! Love the stadium thunder, taking some getting used to in terms of putting the power down and not spinning off. It's a lot more responsive than the lunchie, although that's not difficult! Hope you and your family are well

Started my dark impact today! It's got to last me on the build side because I'm probably going to need it at the weekend's after work if I'm gonna be stuck indoors for the forseeable? So that all I'm doing this weekend! Mind you I'm having trouble with the brushless motor fitting but I'll get there!

Just been out and stocked up on balsa wood and a few other bits and pieces. If we're going to have to stay inside for the foreseeable future then I may as welll make another yacht. I could probably make one in 12 weeks, just need more lead and some plaster of paris and I think I'm pretty well set.

I just heard about the new government restrictions and my immediate thought was I needed to rush out and get a crawler ESC to tinker with in the coming weeks of being locked down.  I might need to rethink my life priorities.

Yeah just 1 crawler ESC won't last nearly long enough, need to get a few, priorities!

We haven't bought a **** thing! 

My employer thinks we are still allowed to work when it goes to LVL 4 😐

I have so much stuff I could do if stuck at home, also LHS has a SCB BE, that I am tempted by...
