Another seller to be aware of :rolleyes:

This is a stunner;

My Feedback

Paid for some Clod bits on August 6, and on August 15th, still hadn't received them.

Here's the ebay messages since;

1st Enquiry; 15th August Enquiring if goods had shipped

message1rg2.th.jpg

1st Response; Not yet, been away with work - That's payment + 9 days, NOT YET

Message says 'will post tomorrow'

message2vk5.th.jpg

Response/reply

Basically, 'cheers, just making sure they hadn't got lost'

message3ax8.th.jpg

2nd Enquiry; 23-08 asking for update

message4cp9.th.jpg

2nd Enquiry Response; 23-08

Still not posted, apparently postal strikes and vacation - There is no mention of a vacation, if you check the listing

message5vr1.th.jpg

So, on 28-08 after no goods arrived, I started Paypal proceedings ;

message6ll8.th.jpg

And on 29th escalated it to a claim;

message7oz5.th.jpg

On 29th I also left him negative feedback, as I consider getting paypal involved grounds for negative feedback, the feedback was;

PAID 5/8 TOLD TWICE IT WOULD SHIP; 29/8 STILL NO GOODS - PP DISPUTE GETS ANSWER!

To which I receive;

SHIPPED 1ST TIME, SELLER CLAIMED LOST, SHIPPED ANOTHER TODAY, STILL NEG FB!!!!!!

Funnily, the FB he left me doesn't quite tie up with everything he's written above!

Nice to see the ebay feedback system still works so well

And no, still haven't received goods, but royal mail tracking number DL614918196GB is apparently for my bits.

We'll see...

Checking out his other negs, the real funny thing is that he seems to withold feedback until he's received it - There's not one neutral/negative feedback where he has left feedback first, either as a bidder or a seller

Reeks a bit really

You do realise who this seller is? The guy that runs the vintage parts shop on TC. I've bought a few times from him and although it takes some time to finalise a transaction through the TC vintage shop i have always received the parts.

Seems bad whats happened to you though, i've been lucky so far and never had any ebay issues, only problems with non functioning parts that have easily been resolved. Lets hope your parts do eventually turn up!

I didn't, but that's a shame, I've actually bought from him direct before.

Since that first post we've done some follow-up negging, and apparently;

TOLD TWICE IT HAD SHIPPED!, SHIPPED ANOTHER ITEM TODAY, NEG FB FOR US BOTH!!!!!!

yet those messages above would suggest I was told it was going to ship, not that it had shipped, even when the last message says he will ship on the 24th, yet hasn't shipped until the 29th.

Not sure what parts of anything he says to believe really.

Well as soon as you get tossed pillar to post you dont know what to believe. Delays can sometimes happen, especially with occasional sellers, family problems whatever but not repeatidly. Its a shame and i hope (in the nicest possible way) its only happened to you and not the majoriity of people. A blip in the system so to speak.

Good luck with it

Yup, I got no problem with a bit of a delay, at the time there was no real rush for the bits, and as I was told mid-August that they'd ship the next day, then it was fine.

But when bits you buy afterwards start arriving from the States, then it's a little off, especially when the excuse changes and includes a holiday

The Integy parts in my showroom were bought from the US on the same day, were posted on the 8th, and arrived on the 21st!

We'll see what happens - if the bits were posted today, they'll hopefully be here tomorrow...

I've had good service in the past too, but this transaction blows big-time.

His follow-up to the feedback he left was;

SELLER WAS TOLD OF SHIPPING DATE IN EMAIL, 2ND SENT TODAY NO LIES AND NOT 1ST-FB

Again, a total crock, I've never received a mail from him, only 2 ebay messages (as above) and apparently, having one previous -FB justifies his responses. :)

As you can see from the messages above, there's no mention of ever sending a 'first' package. Indeed, on the 15th, he'd been too busy to do anything...

UPDATE:

Goods arrived today (30/08) after being posted on 29/08, not on 24/08 as was promised in last message.

Funny how things speed up once paypal get involved! :lol:

You just have to take the rough with the smooth sometimes Andy. You know, you wouldn't be bothered if the seller held their hand up and said, sorry, my mistake. Seems some people simply are unable to apologise or admit fault and will go all out shouting to try and prove otherwise. Shame really, because it's ballses it up for all of us.

Having known you for ages I can vouch for the fact that you're a laid back and easy going guy and prolly wouldn't have given a monkeys if the seller had said there'd be a delay...

Pfft. Maximum suckage.

To add to this I must say that my last 5 transactions with him have been really bad...2 times the item I won was not in stock in the end... and 3 times it took 10 days to get the stuff while still paying a LOT for UK to UK shipping....

The guy's lost it IMHO...sadly as he was good before.

I've used this guy once and I was so unimpressed I swore to myself never again!!

Basically it was a body shell for a TGX which I really wanted

Basically the item price was good

Postage was 9 (actual cost was 3.18) I enquired about the postage and he told me it was a 'standard charge'??)

It took 15 days from my winning it on ebay to arrive at my house!!

What really peed me off though was about 4 days later Jason (JR-RC) listed one at a lower (B-I-N) price and postage was

cheaper too and it's never taken more than 5 days for anything to come from him (In Tokyo no-less!!)
