Removal Of Paint

Hi all just want to know if you can remove old lexan paint on a shell??

Just use a solvent that wont damage the plastic, like careful applications of White Spirit or Nitro fuel or Brake fluid. Dont go mad with it though or it will result in a damaged and useless body.

Hand paint usu comes of very easily and nicely. Lucky! Aerosol is usu a pain in my experience.

Curiously enough I found out by accident that tire grip compound (robitronic brand at least) removes tamiya hand paints beautifully. Did not damage my Can Am lola or a 959 shell.

I've found that nitro fuel works well on polycarb bodies and hand-applied paint.
