So, What Is Your Dream Model

Recommended Posts

Another "poll"

What is still on your deep-dark-secret wishlist ?

( rc related )

Afordeble or not, just what is -the model- you really , really , really would like to own someday.

For me, there are 2:

1:16 Hydrolic wheel loader

Working scale turbine engine, just to make a lot of noise

so.. what are your wishes ??

Well its a big list but here goes:

-my very own off road track

-full race spec traxxas revo

-cnc lathe and milling machines

-the ability to use cnc lathe and milling machines

-and a masive work area with all the tools I've always wanted.

Im sure there is more but I can't think of anything else more right now.

ROFL!!! ;)

My ultimate model ?

A Mounty body on an orginial Hilux chassis, why that particular combination I hear you ask?

Because my first 1:1 car was exactly that, the straight bed Hilux in red, proper split rim wheels & manual freewheel hubs and I loved it to bits.

Also a Porsche 936 Turbo & Countach CS, my first Tamiyas.

My dream r/c car list can be narrowed down to a Superior Racing SRP-1, Tamiya TRF411X, Hirobo Jealousy or Tech Racing Voggerd GT.

My current wants list runs to about 20 cars.

Wow! So many R/C's I want.

Simple list.

A beach with some huge dunes, light and rough gravel for dakar and wrc use.

Ooo and a proper dakar car with full independant suspension, Low COG, 30mm ground clearance and about 220 mm wide.

Ahhh heaven :D

cheers Ryck

I want 1/10 replicas of both Pikes Peak and the Stelvio Pass built in my back garden!

AMEN!!

Ditto for me,

But you could also add 1/10 replicas of

Nrburgring Nordschleife : WIKI link

and

Circuit de la Sarthe (With-OUT the Chicanes on the Mulsanne Straight) : WIKI link

I already own a never driven Jealousy... this dream has come true.

What else?

- staying healthy and in good shape to enjoy my projects for a lot of years

- peace

- some good friends to go racing with (I do not have....)

- RC weather: sunny weekends, raining only during the night

Sticking strictly to the thread title and avoiding things like 'a good track' or 'lots of tools' - I would say I mostly want:

- An NIB M04 Whatever and M03 Rover Mini Cooper so I can at last make my twin-engined 4x4 Mini (not really too expensive, may build this next year)

- A twin brushless setup to go in the twin-engined 4x4 Mini

- A full brushless TRF-501X (like I'll ever be able to afford that!)

- A fully-hopped up brushless Dyna Storm

- A fully-hopped up brushless Top Force Evo

- A fully-hopped up brushless Wild Dagger on 4" shocks

- A fully-hopped up race-spec brushless Clod with axle-mounted steering

Slightly more realistic, working on these projects at the mo:

- A custom-built Clod crawler (coming soon)

- A custom-built Mad Max 3 style scale truck (coming soon)

- An RC10 metal-chassis Baja Beetle (I have the shell, but not enough money to buy the RC10 for a while)

- A 4x4 oil-shocked Lunchbox capable of performing like a 1:12 monster should, not like the stock Lunchy does (coming soon)

Hi i'd like a late 70s 3 speed 1/10th Trams-am, like smokey abd the bandit, or an 86,87 Dodge Daytona.

Now that is a hard one,

I agree with the offroad track in the backyard (could almost make a 1:18 in mine i suppose)

but, currently I suppose a hilux is pretty much it, whichever form

Another dream one purely because I could not justify that much money on it would be a Mammoth dump truck! I just think it's a cool laugh. I smile everytime I see one.

My ultimate total dream because one wasn't made, would be for an early 1980's HDT Holden Commodore (australian car) especially with a set of decals of when Peter Brock was racing them!

So Realistic dreams

Another Pajero (58132) to modify. (A good possibility)

Hilux or bruiser
