Well, i have a TT01, i got a 27 turns motor in it, runs just fine, but some TC members allways say the TT01 will have problems with faster motors, but i think it can handle the brushless just fine... allthough its plastic its notlike it falls apart all the time..

Not true at all.

Just keep in mind you won't be able to change the gear ratio too much.

I think if you have the alu prop shaft, and ball bearings then the car should be fine.

The plastic dog bones are a problem, so you should get alu ones.

Then I think it should be pretty much ok with a hotter motor.

Novak SS5800 & SS4300 runs very nicely in a TL01. Gearing with the smallest pinion should suit it quite well for general bashing.

I have SS5800s in the EvoIII and 1/12 EvoIII-mini.

in the manual for the ss5800 it says use the stock gearing your kit came with lol

personnally i just go up a few teeth and its still cool and alot better performance

might just be me tho because it makes sense lower turn lower gearing

ahwell lol
