Trf501x Rear Belt

Has anyone had the rear belt stretch/wear in the 501X? Would the Tamiya belt tensioners help? I have only raced it 4 times!

It's probably normal with the power of that brushless you've got in the thing. You may just have to pull the rear apart & clock the tension one notch tighter.

Thanks Sean! I turned the diff bearing holder two notches and tension is better.. But a new belt will be installed soon...

Mr. Kimura who is manager of Team Azarashi is one of my friends and he is distributing some of hop-ups for 501X.

I talked to him at IFMAR WORLDS 2007 and he was saying separate decks are very effective about improvement of its rear belt durability.

I talked to TRF Driver Hupo Honigl at the IIC Race this past weekend and he told me a French company was also coming out with a few parts for the 501X.. Have you "Grahoo" or anyone else heard anything about this company in France?

There is no French 3rd-party's information in Japan.

I saw Mr.Hupo who was the fastest 501X driver in IFMAR Worlds, but I could not talk to anyone of TRF except their coordinator because Saturday their paddock seemed really dark, and some of them looked nervous.

Of course, everybody had understood well the cause of their bad mood and could not approach them that day, me too.

at the time, in team Novak's pit, they were enjoying music or Youtube or was playing with his Godzillas.

I will visit to Novak at first if I change my job.
